Sorry Sunny, I saw your reply afterwards, I'll drop it, but he's a WUM and on the look out for it.

The end.

You all need to pack the fuck in.

NOW.

Don't make me get the ban stick out, I've been resisting the temptation for fucking ages, cos I've been in a bad mood over the club & loads of personal shit too, & I will ban people with impunity. So just FUCKING STOP.

Only positive for me yesterday, was the performance of young Flanagan.

That lad is a real good player in the making and he was one of a very few Liverpool players who never gave up even when we were 2 down.

He's a better fullback than Kelly imo.

I don't know whether to lock this because of the bitching, the gayness or the fact that like every other thread it's gone off topic

I've pretty much backed Kenny and his signings all season long, but right now i'm not sure where i stand in regards to them being with us come the start of next season. I'd bought into the idea that we were planning for the long term and that our form would be patchy as a result, but with all concerned showing so little it's getting harder to maintain that belief.

Yeah, the cold light of day can be a bitch, can't it?

I like the way you suspend reason until it becomes impossible not to, though. I wish I could do that.

So i take it you've come to a conclusion of whats right for us to do a long time ago then Del?

Personally i'm torn on a number of issues. Do we cut our losses on players like Carroll and JH or stick with them and hope we reap the rewards in the years to come (which i've tended to believe was the plan)? Change our manager or give him time to turn things around (numerous pros and cons for both as it stands right now)?

Certain people on here come across as if they know all the answers all of the time, i wish i could do that. Actually maybe i don't.

Nobody has the right answers. There's so many factors that will contribute to a situation. It's easy to identify a problem - identifying the cause and fix is the difficult task. Here's a classic example -

"Time to get rid of Kenny"
"OK, who do you want to bring in?"
"I haven't really thought about it"
"Ermmmmm,.."

Who have you suggested mate ? Out of interest. Or rather - who have you suggested that would willingly leave the team they are managing now (who are undoubtedly doing well) and come to a club who gets rid of a club legend after one full season?

Logically speaking who would come to us though? Risky situation for any manager.

Klopp, loew (pipe dream), AVB (still). Emery is an option too.

Would they come to us? Who knows. We won't know until we enquire.

We need someone who has built a side up and has knowledge of the European leagues where we can get better value for money.

I don't know who that is, but they're important qualities we need.

You don't actually need a manager that has knowledge of other leagues though, you just need trust worthy scouts that do.

Isn't that supposed to be Commolli?

These are awful times to be a Red at the moment. One of the hardest parts for me is seeing Kenny suffering and reading Sky generation posters everywhere being so disrespectful. This run of form is so bad that the players' belief is in short supply and therefore Ive listed a few points of perspective regarding Sunday below:

1. We were playing quite well before the first goal however heads dropped following it
2. The referee failed to award an obvious penalty to Liverpool just before the goal
3. He also failed to send off Simpson
4. I'm not convinced Carroll dived, he may have tripped himself and didn't appear to claim a penalty therefore a booking was ridiculous
5. The second goal was clearly offside. What was the linesman looking at?
6 Reina didn't touch Perch however is not as big a loss to the team compared to a couple of seasons ago
7. agger and Johnson will make a huge difference at the weekend

welcome to the board, pete. 🙂

Welcome to the forum Peter, and all that you say is true. The difficulty is that, for all the bad luck, we should still have had enough about us to win that game (and so many other similar games this season) against a side who admittedly played well but who nevertheless are not as good as we are when we play to our potential.

I thought Newcastle played it perfectly for the most part and didn't really have to up a gear. It was similar to the Arsenal game the way they picked us off.

I've been saying all season, everytime a team gets the ball in that space between midfield and attack, I hold my breath, we're giving far too much space in that part of the pitch (and we were doing it with Lucas in the side aswell), and once the defence looks exposed we're an inevitable fuck up.

I know that's not necessarily how the goals came about, but it's a big worry.
