Hope this doesn't jinx him now. Just to be sure:

"He's gonna give away 2 peno's against Swansea and be sent off before halftime."

Trying to look up a meme in Google with the search term "jinxed", and I keep seeing this cartoon character or this Nickleodeon show, both of which I've absolutely no idea of.

Okay, looks like Jinx is some game character in League of Legends. Geez, I feel old.

Not bad for a player who allegedly has a fuck up and a penalty in him, 'every game'.

I can't remember which game it was recently - think it was the FA Cup game or the Fulham one - we had a corner and Skrtel was going for it, and - lo and behold - someone was pulling his shirt and there wasn't a call. I'm pretty sure this happens every game, and pretty sure too that the same players do them every game. We call Skrtel out for it every time because, well, we watch him every game, but I suppose if we were fans of other teams, we'd be doing the same for those teams' centrebacks.

The refs probably have seen them so much they don't give a damn anymore, unless they happen to have a reverse Webb moment.

I'm afraid I suspect we call him out for it as often as we do partly because commentators and pundits are doing so right across the media. It's similar to the hue and cry against Suarez for diving, and just as one-sided. Neither was ever the only culprit or even consistently the worst one.

Never understand why people get so wound up about his defending of set pieces, its not like it costs us, we seem to have imporved on our defending of set pieces this season, especially recently, we have been very good.

Exactly, Vidic does it more often and over a longer period of time.

You missed out 'head like a 50 pence piece'

Which is just another myth, seeing as he clears the ball with his head, well out of danger enough times per game and with enough distance. His 50p head banged a perfect header in against Arsenal two weeks ago.

It's like criticising a forward player for every pass that doesn't come off, when the majority of them do.

One of our best headers of the ball and gets a lot of undue stick.

I was kidding.
