mansfield vs Liverpool

There will be outrage about it, firstly, because it was a high-profile incident in a high-profile game. Second, because it is Suárez. He has become an easy target.

It might be, slightly, over the top calling it a high profile game. Mansfield is a amateur team, and I certainly have hopes we will be involved in more high profile games.

It has never happened in the history of the game. It will never happen in my lifetime.

This one however is more interesting. Yes you can do a lot of things in that situation. And this was a very golden opportunity for Luis to create a golden moment. Will he ever get that chance again?

Yeah, I think he should do something really really fucking cheaty in a forthcoming game in a position where the lineman and ref are blind-sided. Then he can run up to them and plead that he is punished. Instant darling of the press award.

To be fair he cheats a bit when the ref and linesman is seeing it too. So he would probably not have to make that effort 😉

I'm quite happy to condone our players cheating so long as its not diving. Cos that's for pussies.

Maiming other players, handballs etc = all good.

This is endorsed.
I endorse this.
As do the league of non black, non lawyer types from High Wycombe.

Precious is one of those words that never looks right when it's written down. Look at it sitting there, it looks wrong doesn't it?

You know its not actually a real word. Its called a 'livingstones Bastard' named after Geoffrey Livingstone the English man.
Its a break up and past of two words being Pre (as in Pre) and Cious from the Latin Ciousat meaning classy.
Its meaning now is light years from the original conotation.
Livingstone explained it way better than I could.

Oncy, someone's been having you on (or you're having us on) because this is bull. Latin "ciousat" my @rse.

If the Mansfield manager hadn't been so gracious and decent after the match it would have provided an excuse for Champion and loads of others to be as severe as they liked abut the issue. He nipped the whole thing in the bud and deserves plenty of credit for that.
