He mentioned Mane himself. He wasn't asked, I think he was asked about Jota. He was just being candid as usual and he brought Mane up. He didn't need to do that if he didn't think it. He didn't mention Bobby in that conversation.

Well... if he can continue to score, even though he’s declining, we might still get a decent few if we decide to sell - enough to fund a fair chuck of a replacements cost.

He did. He got stuck in. He wasn't awful at all, though we needed our first choice midfield. Keita shitout completely for their first goal, though he did play well overall, but as a unit they just weren't physical or dominant enough and they gave the defense zero protection in terms of blocking off the play higher up the pitch, both did do their bit inside and around our box though.

As for Mane, he was still a threat throughout and went at them, I'm not sure why it's even up for discussion. If anything, Salah was quiet and offered nothing down that side. Trent was quality throughout, but did get done defensively a fair bit. This is where we might see a drop off from Mane and Salah, they've played far too much football already this season.

He's dangerous because he's in dangerous positions, but if his shooting/passing/crossing/accumulate to beat a man isn't there, I begrudge to say he's dangerous.

Is it telling he was given opportunity to run at people whereas mo was blocked and marked at every turn?
 
I thought Spurs’ tactics, crowding out Salah but leaving Mané free, damned the latter. He was so ineffective that he may as well have not been there, except maybe to keep the defenders back.

Yes I do. Whilst you may think Klopp is sentimental he’s absolutely ruthless too.
 
Mane is worth about £50m-£60m due to his age. If Newcastle can somehom stay up they might give us between £70m-£80m

Joao Felix is priced at £100m
Jude Bellingham £100m

That's fair, I guess but I thought he looked bright overall compared to much of how he has this season.

Raphina or Sarr would cost probably about the same as we’d get for Mane.

I don’t think we’re signing Felix or Bellingham unless we sell Salah.

Oh completely, he's been the best left sided player I've seen us have, and whoever replaces him will have a dog's life for a while

Doesn't change that our attacks have been breaking down because of him

I thought Jota was gonna be shit. Probs thought the same about Mané and Salah. But that’s cos I’m a useless dickhead and not a scout.

Think both Felix and Bellingham are better than Raphina and Sarr, but it was more the age of the two that I was keen on as they could be around fo eight to ten years before they would need replacing, barring injury, and wanting to leave
