Ah, I'm not sure that's quite fair. Dissenting voices are allowed, and ultra-positive (or negative) bellendery is quickly called out.
And often the debate is measured. I know we lock threads around these parts, but there's a super debate you can search for "The Wijnaldum Conundrum" which was posted just over a year ago, and many of the concerns about him are eloquently aired and discussed.
And the "Invisible Man" nickname has its first appearance.
And yeah, while there are a few "he's great/ Newcastle fans know fuck all/ blah blah" there are more than enough dissenting voices.

Yeah, but the general attention span is in the "gnat" range, which is why discussions about "gen-genpressing" and work-rate or whatever, can veer suddenly into a giddy debate about beans or robots or something.

That was my belief of Salah. A one trick pony, but it's a very good trick.
In fact, if I look skill for skill, AOC has more natural ability than Salah in my opinion. It's just that Salah is quicker and actually knows what's good at (i.e. penetrating runs; so he sticks to that).
AOC doesn't seem to have a clue at what his thing is. He's trying to be everything and is producing nothing. And that's where Klopp needs to educate him. Otherwise he will be as shite as a lot of people seem to think. I just think that even brainless footballers can be incredibly effective when they know what they are good at. But I guess that's part of having a footballing brain (imagine if Xavi thought he was a winger and how shite a career he would have had there).
Good points. I guess it's all about opinions. I was delighted to get Salah as I've really rated him since I saw him play for Basel. And I remain convinced of OC's shitness. But then I've been spectacularly wrong before. So fingers crossed.

And they needed to win by 7. Sweden barely tried to attack. When they did and got a set piece it always resulted in a chance.
