Well at least it's not Ngog upfront alone again....

and he has brought in Babel (not that I'm a fan of his but he deserves it)

Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Insua, Kuyt, Lucas, Mascherano, Maxi, Gerrard, Babel.

Subs: Cavalieri, Torres, Benayoun, Aquilani, Riera, Aurelio, Kelly.

That's a fucking awesome bench to see.

Hopefully we line up like that too.

YOSSI is BACK!!

Yep, that's the best bench we've had out there in a long, long time.

Wonderful to see Torres back, even if I doubt that he'll play much.

I'm not sure about the Babel up front thing though. We need someone to hold up the ball, and that's not one of his greatest assets.

I wonder why sky didn't pick this one up. Babel will do fuck all, hope I'm
wrong and all, but he just doesn't give a shit.

Man City: Given, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Bridge, Wright-Phillips, Ireland, De Jong, Barry, Adam Johnson, Adebayor.
Subs: Taylor, Richards, Santa Cruz, Sylvinho, Toure, Bellamy, Ibrahim.
Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Insua, Mascherano, Lucas, Maxi, Gerrard, Babel, Kuyt.
Subs: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Torres, Riera, Aurelio, Benayoun, Kelly.

Brilliant to see Torres and Yossi on the bench. I really hope they can contribute something to this game. We've really missed them both - Torres especially.

is N'gog injured?
Thats what i wondered.

Bit of a shit treatment for someone who has done quite well for one so young.

He scored. Always a dangerous thing for a second-choice striker to do under Rafa.

Yeah never thought much of Babel as a main forward but hopefully that will change today... ...

Ngog has really struggled in recent games. It might be the circumstances but probably right to give him a rest...

But to not even put him on the bench is baffling.

Torres is the only recognised striker on the bench and he shouldn't come on unless we really have no options left.

We can't afford to rush Torres back.

Liverpool supporters are now so used to mediocrity under Rafael Benitez, we're now thinking N'gog is being hard done by.

Jesus fuck. He played about 10 professional football games before he signed for us. Whatever happens, N'gog's a very lucky guy.

Diddums.

We're more likely to win games with him out the side, so who cares?

N'Gog is shit. Poor guy.

It was the correct decision to drop him for a game of this importance. Now be quiet.

Why do we keep grabbing the ball in midfield and passing to Reina?
you know why. we're bereft of ideas. what? you know my idea, no. what? what what

We've started well.

Although Daniel Agger appears to be our playmaker.
Are we playing 4-4-2?

Gerrard seems to be further right than usual.
this has been a case in a lot of recent games. i guess he knows the season is over and is thinking he'll get less tackles and knocks out there which could otherwise injure him for the world cup. lucas on the other hand is invincible so he'll play there unconcerned
