Did reasonably well in all his previous clubs.

[article]Crystal Palace have held positive talks with Lucien Favre over potentially replacing Roy Hodgson but could face competition from Everton to appoint the 63-year-old as manager.

Favre, out of work since being sacked by Borussia Dortmund in December, is understood to have been identified as Palace’s preferred candidate in a difficult recruitment process during which they abandoned negotiations with Nuno Espírito Santo.

The former Switzerland midfielder is keen to manage in the Premier League and held discussions with Palace officials over the weekend to discuss his demands, with sources close to Favre saying he was impressed with their plans.

However, Everton are believed to have expressed interest in Favre, who led Dortmund to successive second-place finishes in the Bundesliga during two full seasons in charge, as they search for a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti after his surprise departure for Real Madrid.

The former Liverpool manager Rafael Benítez is also a candidate for the Everton job, as is Nuno, the former Wolves manager whose talks with Palace broke down this month amid concerns over his demands.

Fenerbahce are understood to have contacted Favre’s representatives about their vacant managerial position in recent weeks, although it is thought he would prefer to work in England. Before joining Dortmund in 2018, he guided Nice to Champions League qualification during two seasons in Ligue 1 and he has also managed Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hertha Berlin.[/article]

There’s more for Spurs and Everton to cross of their lists.

Dreamie will be in the running for the Spurs job at this rate.

Is this the appropriate time for me to role out the "Daniel Levy and the old woman" joke?
No?
Okay, I'll come back later.

Spurs should go for Rafa, he would win them a Cup and make them defensively better. By the 3rd season, he'd be fired by Levy for demanding too much

Tottenham made a "dizzying" offer to Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui but the former Spain boss will not be going anywhere, according to the La Liga club's president Jose Castro.

This is beyond embarrassing for Spurs & Levy. You love to see it!

Nagelsmann
Hansi Flick
Rodgers
Potter
Martinez
Ten Haag
Poch
Conte
Fonseca
Gattuso
Lopetegui

You'd think managing in the Premier League would be attractive. Everton, Palace and Spurs seem to be unable to even get someone to say yes.

High pressure with next to zero chance of fulfilling it? Nah.

High pressure is surely quite common in top flight football regardless of league.
You’d think the money would persuade a lot of people.
Agree to a point, but there's an expectation at spurs and Everton to kick on and challenge for trophies. Both teams are shite and cannot. Mentally, they're their own worst enemy.

Palace just has a demanding fanbase I think

You have to ask why managers are turning down spurs, and the prime reason it boils down to is funds. They have a 800million stadium, I read they have to pay payments of £37m on their stadium, and with huge loss of revenue due to covid they're struggling. They can't find any sponsors who will pay the figure they want to rename the stadium.
