There's something VERY p!$$ed off-looking about the way Evra turns away after the goal goes in. Couldn't happen to a nicer liar.

It's funny how he seems to be one of the guys who's downed tools this season, and is at the same time supposedly one of their dressing room leaders. That can't be a good combination for the club.

yeah it was mad to see Skrtel there, i was laughing my ass out when i saw Skrtel there running up and asking for the ball from Suarez may be... haa haa haa the bald gem, i am just loving him this season
we were also lucky that one of Skrtel's deflection yday went over the bar

There's a bit of the Josemi spirit in old Skrtel. No matter where he is on the pitch, as soon as a goal goes in he's right there, as if by magic, ruining the celebration of whoever scored by putting his arms around their neck and pulling them to a halt before they can do their routine.

On a sidenote:

[article=http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/9218775]Rodgers reserved the biggest praise for two men who’ve come in for criticism in the past in Jordan Henderson and Joe Allen. The midfield pair were tasked with the dual role of ensuring Liverpool had superiority of numbers in the middle but also getting out wide to help out their full-backs. Allen covered the most ground of any player on the pitch – 11.87km – and Henderson wasn’t far behind with 11.25km of running.[/article]

I love his enthusiasm but I hate it when players do that. I'd actually be warning him off it if I were Stevie or Brendan.

Quite a few United fans telling me today that there's loads of rumours of a dressing room mutiny after the game. Apparently the players all turned on Moyes! Who knows where these rumours start and whether or not it's true but I hope not as I'd love to see Moyes as their manager next season too.

My brother who has supported man u for over 30 years was absolutely livid today. Blamed it all on the ref, even claimed that Rafaels hand ball barely was a penalty. The Allen one as well. He said that he's never seen an away team get three penalties in a game. I just laughed and asked him what the ref should have done? Sour grapes...

Yeah he's not fun to be around when Man U aren't doing well. Can't take banter but is very good at giving it.

Time for you to have some fun then, you've taken your shite I'm sure. The problem with success is, it's not perennial, it won't last for ever. Let's face it we all thought it was just a wobble and we were "too big" not to win the league again soon. Man U are in real danger of this happening and they also have debt to deal with. Once you're out the top four breaking back in won't be so easy especially with two teams practically buying a golden ticket into the CL . As I say, he best get used to it.

I'll just let them self destruct. Trying to be the bigger man.

Typical MU fans. Brash when winning. Whimper and blame and moody and angry when losing.

Argentina legend Maradona had been given VIP tickets by United for him and his entourage to watch the game from the directors' box. He stood up and applauded when Steve Gerrard scored Liverpool's second penalty in their 3-0 victory.

But when he asked if he could see Uruguay striker Suarez in the away dressing room after the game his party was refused permission by stewards because, according to United sources, the only access was via the tunnel which was full of broadcasting crews, cameras and cables.

"There were simply too many people in the tunnel to allow access," said a United spokesman. "The only way he would have been able to see anyone would have been to wait by the coach."

Maradona was a welcome guest at United's Carrington training complex a couple of years ago when he posed for pictures with former manager Sir Alex Ferguson and his players and signed shirts.

He also met some of their players on their January warm-weather training trip to Dubai, where he is now based.

In an interview in Sunday's programme, United striker Robin Van Persie said: "Maradona was my childhood hero and I must have watched every video there is about him and seen all his goals. I met him for the first time just over two years ago in Dubai when I was on holiday. He's a very special person and was an unbelievable player."

I just want to say thanks God Sturridge and Suarez weren't particularly sharp on the day. Otherwise we would have won by 6-7 goals and owners would have no choice but to sack Moyes. That was actually my biggest worry before the game - I was pretty confident we would win, but worried we might destroy them and collect yet another coaching scalp. Fortunately it is looking like Moyes has survived.
