LVG's Man Utd

I'll be tuning into the fun and games later. Should make for a fascinating game actually. It's one of those weird games where no matter what happens as a Liverpool fan it's all good 🙂

I said it a while ago, people are really under-estimating the resistance within the board to Mourinho. Some of them hate Mourinho's attitude, conduct and playing style. It's not insurmountable - they'll go for him if things get more desperate (ha, look at where they are in the league, WE should be so desperate!), but some really don't want him, and well done to them for that. A couple of decades ago we wouldn't have batted an eyelid at such resistance at our club - indeed, we would have applauded it. The man is a nasty piece of shit, and any club that looks at him and thinks, 'thanks but no thanks, not for us,' is still acting with a sliver of integrity as far as I'm concerned.

I still want him to go there. They might think Ferguson is a better human than him but he was an arrogant arsehole who walked all over anyone in his way. As for Giggs, he watched the Lion King that many times he ended up banging his brother's wife for eight years. Lovely people to choose between. Man United thinking it's too good for Maureen is like Broadmoor thinking it's too good for Peter Sutcliffe.

And as an old dude said to me in the pub on Christmas day, it would be like when Brian Clough went to Leeds. One cunt of a man takes over one cunt of a club and it all ends in tears.

Yes, but he'd win them the title at least once, and I'd rather they never won a title again in my lifetime.

Doubt it. The stars aren't aligning quite like they have elsewhere. Chelsea were second under Ranieri and needed a bit extra. Inter had spent half a billion on the most expensively assembled squad ever, were champions already, needed guiding over the line in Europe. Madrid had a great squad. Look at Man United. They're fucking shite. They're higher than they should be in the league. Chelsea has a far better squad and be guided them to sixteenth.

I think he's lost it, and even if he had it I don't think there's much more be could do at Manure. Not without a few transfer windows and a lot of pain. Not without the kind of work he hasn't ever done.

Fucking hell that's dire.

Your manager wants to quit cos he doesn't think he can do the job but the club don't want him to.

He'll probably walk after today's match. If Utd then don't go for Mourinho hopefully he'll drink himself into a stupor for the next ten years in a Portuguese bar.

Great to read that there are still people who don't rate Mourinho. I talk to too many people who still believe he' a great manager.

He has won a title at every single managerial stint he's had though. And they can happily go and spend another 200 million in the next transfer window they want. Their squad isn't great, but it isn't terrible either - De Gea, Smalling and Scheiderlin have the makings of a decent spine, and they have some promising talent in Depay and Martial.

I think he'd challenge for the title within 18 months.

Fuck the makings of a decent spine. ranieri left Chelsea with makelele, lampard, cole, terry, gallas, johnson and he's scouted and bid for drogba. Maureen should have been on his knees sucking Claudio's cock when he arrived there. Inter similar. Real the same. This manure side is utter shit in comparison.

I love it. It's like a nice Christmas present watching them dick around. LVG looks utterly lost and waiting in the wings is a hairy Welsh adulterer or a past it Portuguese translator that is likely to completely divide the board. Meanwhile we get Klopp who is without doubt the highest sought after dude in world football and City look like getting the second best in Pep. Hahaha! Brilliant. I wish I still knew my sisters ex-husband. He was pretty much the only Scum fan I knew and he was a fucking bellend. I used to love winding him up. So much ammunition these days with that sad sack club that sold it's soul when they brought out Utd branded Ketchup©*

*Sold exclusively at Tesco's

Cunt of a club. Cunt of a team and I'm delighted because mainly every Manc fan I've met has been a smug cunt.

Excuse my c-bombs but you know it is fucking Utd 🥷

Whilst I do hate them I will echo @gkmacca - You have to give them some grudging respect if they do resist the pull of Maureen. I wonder if they will though.......

You don't like MU, do you?

I think he will challenge for the title maybe once but there will be a similar fallout.

If he goes to Man Utd, it will be interesting to see who they buy. His stock among promising players must be low after De Bruyne, Schurrle, Salah, Mata, Fabregas, Costa, Cuadrado debacles. It is not like all of these players are Balotelli's. Whether it is true or not, Man Utd pride themselves in managers who give young talent a chance to shine, especially the attacking ones. If I were a talented attacking player, I would think twice about signing for a Mourinho team. I guess his mate Mendes will help him out.
