Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

As long as the quotes arent from the Daily Star etc they're probably spot on.
For someone who doesnt like the media he sure does enjoy talking to journos these days.

If he leaves it will obviously feel shite but his cuntish behaviour will make it much easier. He's a coward though. Just be honest about the reason to why he wants to leave.

Is he really being dishonest though?
You have to realise most footballers are thick, thick, and even thicker cunts.
He might genuinely feel the way he says he feels, without being able to look at the bigger picture, especially with his agent in one ear and the Uruguayan press in the other.

But he's right in a way the media did go over the top over the biting thing. When defoe did it there was hardly any headlines and was made into a joke. When suarez did it you have bloody David Cameroon getting involved, then there was this woman who's kid got bitten and she actually said it was because of the suarez incident. it was so OTT it was unreal. So then im sure whenever his wife and child are out the spotlight is on then and he doesn't want that. So he wants out and wants to go to real madrid because like most south americans they want to go to spain eventually. Like i said if he had done this mid season like torres and mascherano then i'd be calling him a cunt. But hes doing it at the end of the season when there's no disruption to us and wants to leave. As long as we get a good price then he'll go. If not he stays and he'll still give his all on the pitch.

This thread's gonna be golden if no one buys him.

I never understand this "oh he's in south america , we can't control him " . Aren't we still paying his wages ? So demand to his agent that the fucker speaks to someone from the club and then tell him to shut his fat dickhead mouth for 5 mins .

Yes, anyone would think it's still the 1930s and the club's telex machine has broken down. I suppose Suarez will travel back to Blighty on a ship.

Hmmm maybe he should stop acting like a complete bell end then, as if the media in Spain are any more family friendly.

This is bullshit, if he wants to go let him hand in a request and lose his loyalty bonus to fulfill his childhood dream, or was trousering a massive payment on his way to Spain part of his dream as an 8 year old. Instead he just keeps mouthing off weakening the clubs bargaining position while trying to line his own pockets as he walks out the door.

Is he so thick that he thinks we cant see what hes doing?

The media in Spain are probably the same but I doubt they'll be on his case like the English media were (Bale diving vs suarez diving etc) because he'll play for the biggest club there media wise. He'll give them everything and they'll ignore the issues that come along with him.

Why should we force the issue at all? We are inadvertently doing so with the two statements we've released, which reiterate that neither Luis nor his agent have had the balls to say to us that he wants to leave (and are instead playing games in the press), and that we wouldn't sell anyway. We're playing hardball and it's about fucking time. Let him come to us, and until he does he's going nowhere, and if he's that desperate to leave then clubs will have to pay a premium to get him.

Yeah. The media there can be just as vicious - but it works differently.

The problem in England for guys like Suarez is English self-righteousness, which isn't limited just to football.

Its not universal, Marca will eat his shit and tell him its chocolate as long as Madrid tell them to do so (they will also turn on his viciously if he pisses off the club) but some of the other papers like AS will make him a target once he signs for Madrid.

I don't believe for one second that this is related to press coverage

If something is in quotes in a newspaper you can take for granted its true. You can question the context and the slant of the article but the words were obviously said.

I'm intrigued as to just how badly Spion and others are going to take this departure.
Fair enough, but in the Marca Interview(that I have hopefully pasted underneath), there is just one quote, for the rest of the Q&A the interviewer could have been talking to his milkman, plus Sky have worded the so called qoutes differently, which sound even more dramatic but which they can put down to the use of a different translator.
I can't find this so called interview in Spanish but in the following from Marca.com what serious interviewer asks the question 'Why do you lose the plot every so often?' and would Suarez answer the question. It all sounds like BS to me.
P.S. I'm not clutching at straws, if he leaves then life goes on, and he is guilty of being as thick as most other footballers, but, I for one would not believe the words floated on a dying reporters last breath nowadays, the industry has gone to shit and is all about how many clicks you get on your website.

Luis Suárez: "If I score against Spain, my price won't go up"

JUAN CASTRO. RECIFE 06/15/2013
Luis Alberto Suárez (b. Salto, Uruguay, 1987) knows that he'll be in the crosshairs during this Sunday's match against Spain, for his goals, his pedigree and his possible move to Real Madrid.
Question: How do you plan on beating Spain?
Answer: It's definitely hard to get the ball off them, but I've noticed that their full-backs lose focus sometimes and leave spaces.
Q. Why do you lose the plot every so often?
A: They're moments of frustration and it's about time I learned to control them. I experienced football in my own way from a young age.
Q. What do you mean?
A. I've struggled since I was a kid. I remember going to train on my own or with my brother, in the rain. I haven't forgotten that and I hold those memories dear. Nacional almost let me go when I was 13 years old because I wasn't playing and I was mixed up with the wrong crowd.
Q. You took a huge step saying that nobody says no to Real Madrid.
A. I think that every player wants to play at the top and if you ask any eight-year-old boy, he'd answer that one day he'd like to join Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Q. If you have to leave Liverpool, would you like to go for your buy-out clause [£40m or €47m] or for a negotiated transfer fee?
A. If a team wants to sign me one day, Liverpool will listen to its offer. Then both clubs will have to reach an agreement and listen to the player.
Q. If you score one or two goals against Spain, will your price go up?
A. I don't think so [laughing]. Hopefully it helps the team.

Luis Suarez's Real Madrid move edges closer as Liverpool eye Spain starlet Alvaro Morata as makeweight

Luis Suarez has again been talking up a move to Madrid

Luis Suarez will get his wish to join Real Madrid – but only if the Spanish giants sweeten the deal with one of their most promising youngsters.

Liverpool are now ready to listen to offers for their wantaway striker, but have made clear they will not budge a penny below the £40million clause built into the Uruguayan’s contract that triggers a transfer.
Madrid have consistently maintained they will not go to that figure for a player who cost the Reds £24m a little over two seasons ago.

Now the Anfield club are ready to offer an intriguing compromise after Suarez again made clear his desire to leave this weekend when he said the Premier League side HAVE to listen to his demands.
Suarez once again heaped praise on Real Madrid to help engineer his move from Anfield to Bernabeu.
In interviews with Spanish newspapers, the controversial forward reiterated his love for the Spanish giants and talked about his life in England.

Asked what he would bring to Real Madrid, Suarez declared: “I would give my soul every time I step on the pitch. I have done this with Uruguay, Ajax and Liverpool.

“It disturbs me that Liverpool are not in the Champions League and fighting for the Premier League which is where they should be.”
Talking about his desire to leave Liverpool for Madrid, Suarez also said:

“The word of the player is important – if you need a change, you should listen to the player. If I want to sign for another club, Liverpool have to hear the offer. All I ask is for respect for all the things that have been said.”

With the player making his desire to leave so obvious, Liverpool have little option to now get the best deal they can for an unsettled player who has a history of troublemaking to get his way... he once went on strike to engineer a move to Ajax.

And they have identified the top scorer at this summer’s European Under-21 Championship Alvaro Morata as a possible makeweight in any deal to ensure they get the full value for the player.

Real deal: The Reds will only play ball if they can secure Madrid starlet Alvaro Morata as part of the deal

Morata has been one of the stars of the tournament, his four goals steering Spain to a final showdown with Italy, and confirming his huge talent that has already seen him make 18 appearances for Real Madrid at the tender age of 20.

And crucially, he has already bluntly stated he will be forced to leave the Bernabeu this summer if they sign ANY more strikers to block his path to the first team... and with both Suarez and Edinson Cavani on their shopping list, that is virtually certain.

Speaking before his goal in the Euro semis steered Spain into the final, he said: “If another striker is brought in, I will have to think about what’s best for me and consider leaving. If I go, I would prefer a move abroad.”

Intriguingly, Liverpool MD Ian Ayre was due to jet out to Brazil this weekend for a business trip that would undoubtedly have included showdown talks with Suarez, who is in the country representing Uruguay in the Confederations Cup, where they played Spain last night.

But he has cancelled the journey to spend the week at Anfield where he is expected to conclude a flurry of deals over the coming week... and begin the arduous process of negotiating with Madrid.

Given Suarez’s latest comments, there was little point in Ayre jetting out to speak to him, and instead he will negotiate with Sunderland over their highly regarded keeper Simon Mignolet.

Liverpool entered talks over the player last night, with an opening offer of around £7m for the Belgian international, while the Black Cats are understood to be sticking at their valuation of £10m.

With Pepe Reina likely to confirm his move to Barcelona for a similar fee within the next week, Ayre will press through talks to land his replacement, with a compromise figure of around £9m expected.

He will also open negotiations today with Shaktar Donetsk for their talented midfield playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan, for a fee of around £20m for the Armenian international who has attracted the interest of all Europe’s top clubs.

He is Liverpool’s number one target and the club is determined to beat the likes of Juventus and Chelsea to his signature, explaining Ayre’s presence in England.

The Anfield club are also likely to confirm deals for promising Spanish pair Iago Aspas of Celta Vigo, and Sevilla’s Luis Alberto.

The £6m deal for Aspas is already agreed, and the hitch over paperwork after a complaint from the player’s original agent is likely to be sorted within the next few days.

And Liverpool reached an agreement with Sevilla to buy 20-year-old Alberto at the weekend, with the fee again thought to be around the £6m mark, and he will sign a four-year contract later this week.

That will bring Liverpool’s spending to an impressive £42m in the space of a few days, and they will begin the process of recouping that figure with confirmation of Andy Carroll’s move to West Ham for £15m, and the start of talks with Madrid for Suarez.

I really like him but thats just lazy bullshit journalism.
Hmmmm who is flavour of the month.......lets link him.

El Pais ask, do you have an agreement with Real Madrid?
“No, I have a contract with Liverpool.”
Asked, would you like to?, Suarez replies:
“A player always aspires to the maximum and Madrid is always at the top of the goal of a football player. Any player would love to play for a great team like Madrid. But, do you know what it is like to play for Liverpool?”
The interviewer responds ‘Fernando Torres said that to understand you have to play at Anfield’:
“I get goosebumps only thinking about it. Only 4 years ago I use to pretend that I was a Liverpool player, on Playstation.
“Liverpool is one of the best clubs worldwide. We did not go to Champions League, and we did not fight for the Premier League, and this club belongs there. The club knows how much I have had to endure with the press. This is why you think out loud, that it may be time to change, but I have endured so much to be where I am today.
“I am not going to let a few critics take it away from me and abandon what I love. I think what this club represents and the honor that it is to play. The love my daughter has for the club.. she sings YNWA and feels it like her own.”

If given a choice I'd have Jese Rodriguez ahead of Alvaro Morata. We can then save the money for Luis Alberto aside and spend it elsewhere. Won't happen though, as Zidane apparently rates him very highly.

If be only just gave this interview then would have understood nd really think most fans would have accepted it but it's how he started this whole process which has led to this.

Great - lets take a young player from Real, so that when he becomes a star, he can run to the press and tell them his heart has always been in Madrid and he yearns for a return.

Then we have another c@nt. yay

And ideally gouge Real for another 30M+another young stud.

This Suarez transfer, which in all likelihood will happen, will be really interesting to evaluate a few years down the road.
