In a strange way his saying Arsenal is an option helps us in negotiations as now we are not dependent on a measly tiresome dragged out saga with Real. I'd be straight on the phone with Man city and Chelsea and Monaco and PSG even United... How about we hold out for Higuain + some cash for Suarez if it comes to dealing with Madrid. Stops Arsenal getting Higuain, lands us a replacement striker + some change to spare. Win, win, win on 3 fronts. Though I'm pretty sure Madrid would only want to do a straight-up player swap or maybe throw in a useless lightweight (like Nunez last time) to make up the numbers.
