Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

I I I I, I'm not your steppin' stone

When I first met you girl, you didn't have no shoes
But now you're walking 'round like you're front page news
You've been awful careful 'bout the friends you choose
But you won't find my name in your book of who's who

I said, I I I I, I'm not your steppin' stone

I guess the positive in him going to another PL club is that we get the opportunity to kick the cunt in the air.

There's no real win with this though is there? Even if we get it done early, every one knows we then have X amount of money to spend, so we'll get screwed over anyway.

The win as far as I'm concerned is that he leaves and leaves on our terms. I think the signings we've made this summer point to a much better standard of player being signed in general, so that even if we do overpay, we'll be overpaying for a Coutinho-type talent rather than a Downing-type talent.

EDIT: I just want him gone; this sort of 'saga' makes me hate football. If he wants to leave, hand in a transfer request. Be a fucking man about it. He can afford to forsake his loyalty bonus.

Exactly. And Clubs will look at some of our transfer business in the last few years and think they can take the piss.

Then again, the sooner it's done the better as we're all fed up with the saga now and it gives Rodgers time to find a replacement(or replacements).

I just can't envisage anyone at the Club even contemplating selling Suarez to an English side.

Plus to compound it, we're unlikely to get over-the-odds money for him either.

I'm really fucking bored of Suarez now, especially his shitty little come and get me pleas. We've all (club included) backed him to the hilt despite him being a horrible bastard, and he still behaves like this.

As long as we get the price we want for him, I'd sell him to whoever, Arsenal included. He's a quality player, but he's not worth the aggro.

Exactly.

I don't think we will get over the odds money, because clubs will point to his behaviour as a risk and his current ban. I think we'll get between £40m-£45m, and when you consider what we got for Torres when the slide had already started, it's not really enough. He's completely undone all the good work though and all the backing we've given him, I seriously think he thought he was doing us a favour staying last season, such is his sheer ignorance to what he's done.

I think we'd be fucking mad to sell him to arsenal.

Simple reason isn't cos they're English, but cos they're clearly a side that may compete for the club places, but aren't guaranteed one. Adding suarez could be the difference & if his inclusion go them the extra points that cement us in 5th place with them in 4th it'll cost us way more than a couple of million financially & a lot more in terms of reputation too.

I also don't think arsenal are even remotely serious about spending 40m on him, & we shouldn't be selling for any less than 45m.

It all looks like an effort by the club to dirty his bib a little more before shipping him out with the PR war won

Fuck Suarez! He should hand in a transfer request to speed things up if he is intent on leaving. The message from the Liverpool hierarchy should be shut up or put up. He should be muzzled or fined.

At this point only Arsenal put in a half arsed bid for his services. He is sweating because there is nothing coming out of Real, Bayern Munich, PSG and Monaco.

I'll gladly take 40M + Raphaël Varane or Fábio Alexandre da Silva Coentrão to get rid of the cunt.

Regardless of how much ANY club bids we shouldn't sell until he hands in a transfer request. No transfer request then he doesn't go and they need to be firm on that. Not gonna lie i want him to stay, but he wants to go and as long as Madrid give us at least £50m then we should sell. But under no circumstances do we sell to an english club.

Glen: mostly agree, but I wouldn't ultimately insist on the transfer request if a bid of at least double what we paid for him comes in from abroad. Like you I would refuse point blank to sell him to another Prem club.

That's the problem with backing horrible little bastards all the time. No matter what you do for them they are eventually going to be a horrible bastard to you.

Still think the sneaky twat bit Ivanovic hoping we'd turf him out.

An article frm Goal with Suarez mentioning Arsenal if it hasn't been posted already:
The Uruguay international has made no secret of his desire to leave the Merseyside club this summer, and refused to rule out a switch to Arsene Wenger's side
Luis Suarez has admitted he is flattered by Arsenal's interest and claims Liverpool are aware of his desire to leave the club this summer.

The 26-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield after confirming his wish to quit the Premier League in May, confirmed he will report to pre-season training with Brendan Rodgers' side on July 21 but says his future remains uncertain.

Goal reported on Sunday that Arsenal made a speculative enquiry to Liverpool about the availability of the Uruguayan, but were knocked back by the Merseyside club.

“I am somehow off the grid - I don’t even know where my phone is sometimes. My manager called me four times and I was, ‘Oh! Sorry!’”

Yeah, how inconvenient!

Its not actually. The Goal journos Stobart and Vevsey are usually quite reliable when it comes to transfers.

Liverpool echo
Liverpool FC striker Luis Suarez
By Peter Guy | 10 Jul 2013
Real Madrid are ready to hijack Arsenal’s bid to land Luis Suarez.

The wantaway Liverpool striker yesterday revealed he has “two or three options” but scoffed at reports he is about to join Chelsea.

Real president Florentino Perez is set to offer Liverpool a whopping £40million for the Uruguayan - just days after the Reds turned down a £30m bid from the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have held talks with the representatives of Luis Suarez as they hope to put an end to the speculation that he could be set to leave the club this summer as countryman Gus Poyet insisted he must leave the country.

In other Liverpool transfer news, Christian Eriksen is to hold talks with Liverpool and Tottenham as Reds winger Stewart Downing insists he will fight for his place despite suggestions the club will listen to offers to would-be buyers. Finally Bolton have had an offer for Raheem Sterling rejected.

£40 mill's a starting-point for discussions and that's all it is. If Real say take it or leave it, I reckon leave it.

He really is a disrespectful degenerate. he needs to go radio silent. How does he have 3 option? The club have only had one offer
