Gerrard looks much better playing in midfield and making runs forward rather then playing in the advanced position.

Cracking performance so far.
If Benitez wasn't so fucking cautious, you can only speculate where we could be this season.

A few notes:
Something has changed with Babel. He's not there yet, but he seems more confident, makes the right decision more often than not, links up very well with his teammates and hussles back. Hopefully, this is the start of something 'special'.
Insua - his best game in a long long time, some great balls.
Torres - as Ryan keeps on saying, how would a healthy Torres throughout the season have affected us?
Gerrard/Masch > Lucas/Masch
Maxi - some great touches and he just adds a positive influence in the attacking half.
Kuyt - great game too
