We get that 1st goal before the 20min mark and you know the 2nd will follow before half time, then it’s on...
Yes .. but no Firm, and no Salah. So that is not going to happen. For those of you able to remember, i suspect this leg will be like our game against Valencia at home when Rafa was in charge of them.

I don't think I can spare myself the pain, watching this for the inevitable...

Last night really hurt...

Feel wounded after that Kompany goal last night... Utter cunt of club... They are the sole reason why I am not so in love with football as much these days..

I'm finally resigned to the fact its another season without a trophy..

On the plus side if City win the FA Cup, we get to play them in the Community Shield..

Yay... Not .

Would love to see Ox start this one with Shaqiri & Origi joining Mane. Come on the lads. Free hit this, we may not go through but lets take some heavy metal football to these cunts.

Here is one thing everyone inside Anfield knows, including our opponents. This Liverpool never stops. This Liverpool never quits. This Liverpool gives everything at all times. Whatever happens this Liverpool leaves it all on the pitch and nothing left for regrets. We don’t do ‘If only’.

Klopp's notes in the programme

“Oxlade-Chamberlain ruled out as a precaution due to a slight muscle strain.”

I don't see how we keep a clean sheet , but that's what we need.

We need to blitz them right from kick off.

I'm not sure that's what we'll do tbh.

Klopp said he's told the players if it's nil nil at 85 mins gone then they can score three in five minutes, so it's fine.

No way that attitude goes with going all out from the off. I think we'll do the usual spells of pressure that we have all season, with that 10 minutes after half time being key.

I wouldn't be relying on the last five mins of the game against a team that rested for the weekend .

I don't think he means it literally, but if that's what he's telling the players then he's trying to remove the "We need to score three by x mins or it's over" attitude & encourage them to just play & see what happens instead.

There's zero chance tonight. If we had an away goal and Salah and Firmino that'd be tough enough, though I'd still fancy us.

I just hope the lads give a good account of themselves and we don't find ourselves on the wrong end of a cricket score on aggregate.
