I just hope I'm not watching sturridge shuffle about tomorrow night. We need speed, fitness, pressing, strength etc.

I suspect the club just doesn't want to see Mo dropping dead in the middle of the game.
Oh..when you put it like that.
But must ve something new though, am sure when Mane kicked he man city goalkeeper in the head, he continued to play.

I'd like to see us go with a CB pairing of Gomez and VVD. We'll basically have to go 2 v 2 with Messi and Suarez at times, and I'm more confident that Joe Gomez's recovery pace would be more effective in dealing with counter attacks.

Nice. Knew he loved us really.
......

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez says he will not celebrate if he scores against Liverpool at Anfield in Tuesday's Champions League semi-final second leg.

Suarez, who left Liverpool in 2014 after three-and-a-half seasons, scored and then celebrated in Barcelona's 3-0 first-leg win at the Nou Camp.

The Uruguayan apologised for celebrating last week and says he "respects" Liverpool fans.

"I think people know the work I did here," said Suarez.

"I think there will be more applause than whistles. There may be quite a few who are not happy but I think there will be more who are happy and grateful."

He added: "Celebrating the goal last week, people who know about football, who love this sport, know about the importance of this.

"I have all the respect in the world for the Liverpool fans. Because I scored and celebrated with my fans, I say sorry.

"Obviously, it is clear that if I score a goal against Liverpool I won't celebrate it in the same way."

Suarez who scored 82 goals in 133 games for the Anfield club, added: "Being captain of Liverpool was one of the proudest moments of my career. It is something I won't forget. Playing in the elite with Barcelona was because of Liverpool and what they made me."

I didn't mind the celebration. It's his right to celebrate an important goal.
What I did mind was his cuntish behaviour, the provocations, the attempts to confront Robertson and VvD.
If he wanted to apologise it's for that behaviour.
He's being an hypocrite now talking about the goal celebration.
I used to love him until last week. I don't hate him now, but I don't love him anymore.

He's only saying that because he knows he's not going to score.

3-0 FULLTIME.

It would have been worth it just to see the blue fume meltdown.

Though, on second thoughts, I'm guessing it's happened anyway.

If it involves a bus in danger they would definately be on 225 pages already. For them it's not about feed the foodless or shoe the shoeless…. It is all in on bus the busless.

The last week has really been tense. It all started with the Burnley - City game and moved into Barca game of course and I was real tired during the Newcastle game. I thought near the end and we created very little that it could just as well be over. I hardly could watch more..... And then yesterday. That hope building up while you know they will score sooner or later. Then pinning the last hope on a late Leicester goal.... Fuck I am drained now. I hardly have anything left to have a og at tonights game. It is a mountain to climb and no energy to build a support. I keep looking at the different bets but I can't imagine we winning the game even. I really hope those who can contribute is not as emotional as I am. Then we are fucked. No Salah. No Firmino. No Chance…..

2 games left this season, just leave it all out there, so we can be properly depressed from Sunday.

Up the reds!

Fuck it, it's been the best fucking ride of a season in my lifetime (not including the league win cos I'd barely turned ten so obv couldn't appreciate it), so let's just enjoy the last couple of games no matter what, of this fantastic side, knowing this isn't the last time we see them play like this for us.

This.. I was 8 but similar experience.. to be still in both competitions with a week left of the PL season. Every one of us would have taken that at the start of the year. We made City win it out from 14 games to go. Its unprecedented.
