I think we all feel as bad as Klopp dors after that. We thought Salah won us the game but deep inside we kinda knew didnt we ? There was 3 mins to go and we were letting them pass it around like for the whole 45 mins of that second half. It was the moment when we should have calmed it down and kept the fucking ball. This was the game when our real weakness was shown and its one of a tactical nature that we have ignored for too long.

You could understand why it was given from that angle but it doesn't mean it was the right decision.

I don't think it was a penalty. I don't think either were penalties.

But the fact is that if you can't manage the game, can't hold the ball and move up the pitch as a unit, sit back like that against a quality side, make poor substitutions, and completely lose your shape in midfield, then you will concede goals and commit fouls in dangerous positions. Decisions that might go against you in the middle of the pitch instead go against you in your own box.
