I think I've figured out why we're so shit.

1. The players we have in the centre of the pitch bar Lucas don't know how to play in centre of the pitch. Lallana, Milner, Coutinho are all wingers or former wingers and Can is all over the place, not in a good way.
2. They keep running into each other. Running into the same space, or sometimes very far apart. We're dependent on individual brilliance. This is the kind of situation were Gerrard would bail us out somehow.
3. Origi has no clue how to time his runs or where he should run.

We are absolute rubbish though. Poor side that have looked like muck all year and have absolutely no goal threat. I have low expectations until we get some of Benteke, Sturridge, Firmino or Hendo back in the starting line up.
