Some great Momentum in the club in the build-up to this big game.

A win sees us back in the Champions League (unthinkable a few months back).

It's the kind of game we all live for.

What does he do with Emre Can, who needs to be treated with kid gloves.

Does he keep playing the liability that is Moreno. Does he play Sturridge (of course!!)

Our next games

May 8 - Premier League Liverpool vs Watford
May 11 - Premier League Liverpool vs Chelsea
May 15 - Premier League West Brom vs Liverpool

May 18 - UEFA Europa League Final

May 8 - Premier League Liverpool vs Watford
May 11 - Premier League Liverpool vs Chelsea
May 15 - Premier League West Brom vs Liverpool

We'll probably go with the fringe players / reserves for the games against Watford and West Brom, while giving last night's team the game against Chelsea so they get some warmup for the final. Origi might recover just in time to get on the bench against Sevilla on the 18th.

Why does he need to be treated with Kid Gloves ? Was he treated with kid gloves being rushed back onto the pitch after injury and playing the full 90 mins vs Villareal ? No need to treat him any differently to the others, give them all plenty of rest between now and the final with the odd appearance/substitution to keep them sharp.

Having a game on the Sunday is a fucking joke. I'd play all reserves and send the creepy assistant to oversee it. Leave Klopp and the first team away to prepare.

Yeah play full strength against chelsea but reserves against watford and west brom. No way should any of our starting 11 play against west brom, thats bloody 3 days before the final.
I'd even rest some of our non starters so we don't give anything away

Jurgen Klopp says captain Jordan Henderson and striker Divock Origi must be fit for Liverpool's last Premier League game of the season if they want to feature in the Europa League final.
Henderson has been out for a month after suffering knee ligament damage away to Borussia Dortmund, while Origi damaged ankle ligaments against Everton a fortnight ago.
The manager insists both still could have a part to play in Liverpool's pursuit of glory but to do so they will have to be available for the trip to West Brom on May 15 – three days before the showdown with Sevilla in Basel.
“I don't know exactly in this moment but Jordan was really celebrating after the game. I saw in his eyes that he thinks there is a chance (of playing in the final),” Klopp said.
“That's the most important step in the right direction. It's the same with Divock Origi. We will see.
“Before you are able to play the final on the Wednesday after the end of the season, I think the latest moment after a long break when you should be available is the Sunday before. If not then it's not worth taking the risk.”

Daniel Sturridge shone in Thursday night's stunning semi-final demolition of Villarreal as he bagged his 12th goal of the season.
And Klopp believes England will reap the benefits of how Liverpool have carefully managed his fitness in recent months.
“We've done everything we could to make Daniel as fit as possible. Now he's at the highest level,” Klopp said.
“It's really perfect news for England for the European Championship. We tried to do our best with him. He's done the same in the sessions and on the pitch.”
It was a complete team performance against Villarreal as the Reds' unity shone through. There is no room for whingers under Klopp.
“To be honest I am a really nice guy but if you complain in the wrong moment with the wrong words you will have a problem with me,” he said.
“It's all about the team and as long as you understand this it's brilliant. Most people I know are able to learn. It's been very helpful.”

Liverpool FC v Villarreal in Europa League Semi Final Second Leg at Anfield. Daniel Sturridge scores

Liverpool's serene progress in Europe has been accompanied by their stuttering domestic form. They sit eighth in the Premier League ahead of Sunday's home clash with Watford.
Klopp believes the hectic schedule – coupled with injury problems – has cost them in terms of their league position.
“There's been no difference in attitude between the Premier League and the Europa League games. These boys always gave their all,” he said.
“It's been about timing and luck in specific moments.
Klopp - There's really something in this team

“The Europa League gives us the opportunity to maybe qualify for the Champions League. But on the other side it has also cost us an opportunity in the Premier League to qualify for the Champions League because of the number of games we've had to play with the injuries and circumstances we had.
“I am really looking forward to the pre-season that will make us stronger and fitter. You need a bit of luck on the injuries side. We can be a really strong side if we train often enough.
“These boys have given me a lot of nice tips. There's really something in this team.
“The boys always want to hear what was good and what was not so good. That's the best thing when you work together.
“The Europa League has been special because it's a knockout tournament. You need to play your best and come through.”

Klopp will make sweeping changes for Sunday's game but Danny Ings won't make his long-awaited comeback.
The England striker has been back in full training for a week but after seven months he won't be rushed.
“I'm pretty sure Danny wants to (play before the end of the season,” Klopp added.
“He's come back after a long break and has trained at the highest level. “He's a good striker. I knew before and now I've seen it.
“In this moment it makes no sense. We have all these fit players. If there's a chance we will do it but we won't force it. Danny's time will come 100%.
“There will be changes on Sunday for sure but we will try to do everything to win this game because we respect this league. We want to have the best position we can get at the end of the season.

...against a team containing the likes of Yacob and Olsson. Too right.

I'd have Sturridge and Can all wrapped up in horse placenta pasties and cryogenicaly stored until a week on Tuesday.

Don't think there's a chance that Hendo or Origi will start. I doubt that they'll even be on the bench. It's 12 days.

I think there's a very slight chance that Origi might make the bench, but having seen Henderson in crutches last night, there's zero chance he'll be match fit in 12 days.

I'd rather have a fully fit Benteke on the bench.

I'm coming over ffor the match this weekend, so from a selfish point of view woudl love to see Can & Sturridge play; rest them for West Brom

Its shaping up to be a bounty of players for this match. No doubt there will be some injuries between now and then, but here's the current options

Last Night's Esquad
Simon Mignolet
Nathaniel Clyne
Kolo Touré
Dejan Lovren
Alberto Moreno
James Milner
Philippe Coutinho
Adam Lallana
Emre Can
Roberto Firmino
Daniel Sturridge

SUBS
Danny Ward (Keep)
Martin Skrtel (defensive cover)
Brad Smith (droppable)
Lucas (Sigh, keep)
Joe Allen (Keep)
Jordon Ibe (Not playing well, should get the chop)
Christian Benteke ( Should be replaced by Origi)

Just back from Injury
Origi
(most likely in for Benners)
Henderson (No claim really)
Ings (only if we're down a few strikers)

Honorable mention with outside possibilities
Ojo (In for Ibe based on past performances)
Flannagan (Prince Modo says he isn't in the Esquad)

So if OJO/IBE are interchangeable, as is Benteke/Origi, that leaves one place on the bench up for grabs. Flanno in for Brad Smith? Do we have any options to replace Moreno? Martin I would keep due to experience alone.

Twice as good as making SHIT challenges that give away penalties. Definitely agree. He's twice the liability if that's what you mean.

HE's a zombie disaster waiting to happen.

Not necessarily a case of choosing between Benteke and Origi. Last night, our bench was this:
-- Ward, Skrtel, Smith, Lucas, Allen, Ibe, Benteke.

So if Origi is fit enough to get onto the bench, he can just get into the team at Ibe's expense.

Possibly, but we've made it to the final with him in the team.
I'm wouldn't gamble on a player who hasn't played since Southampton away and didn't even make the bench against Swansea.

The problem for Flanno is that he doesn't provide the attacking option Klopp wants from his fullbacks. I don't see Flanno becoming more than a squaddie under Klopp TBH.

That said, it's no surprise that we've been linked with the German LB Hector. Klopp may think Moreno's his best current option at LB but I doubt that guarantees Moreno a long-term place in the side.

Just too headless. If only he could add some intelligence to the passion. On the plus side he does look like SG.

@LFCTransferNRS: Sevilla left-back Benoit Tremoulinas has been ruled out for the rest of the season and will miss the Europa League final.
