I love the fact that even though we've changed 10 men and play with a team of talented youngsters, you can see the same identity and philosophy as the first team.

The whole game is being played ion their third. Trouble is our forward line is too static to give anyone real options for a defense-splitting pass.

Need more bodies in the box
Yeah, they're doing what the first team did last season, camping around the line of their players in the penalty area. They should be in their disrupting them & getting in the way, forcing them back towards goal.

Exactly. It's giving us a decent possession percentage but no real threat

Wow Woodburn's feet are amazing.

He's been to one of these

Yeah, it's chicken & the egg too, cos we're not pushing them back then we can't play through balls close to goal cos of the offside trap.

If both strikers ran back the defence would have to travel with them which would give us more room.

That last move then we did do it, it forced their defenders back & we hit three men in front of goal.

Considering he only ever uses his left foot you'd think Morenos set pieces would be better.

Love Woodburn's movement off the ball, you can see him, constantly looking for the loose ball or pass through, ready to break forward at any moment.

Proper striker that lad.

Great effort from the lads but just missing the finesse of some of the first teamers

Forgot we had the midweek game. We're looking good at getting the ball back but no killer ball at the last so we're struggling to make dominance count
