Gomez is doing well individually in 1 on 1 duels, but he's no Van Dijk in terms of marshaling the defense. Especially surrounded by the debutant Williams, Van der Berg and Kelleher. The senior midfielders constantly giving the ball away in dangerous positions haven't helped either.
