I've always thought Bournemouth are the team that plays the most naively against us. Not the worst team we face by any means, but not willing to, or not able to do the boring low percentage bus play. Has that been the case today?

He played the first half basically as a DM, & didnt do too badly, his problem seems to be timing of the tackle, every one in about six or seven he mistimes that said, he's made more than any other midfielder on the pitch for us as far as I can see.

2nd half - great performance - some dodgy moments, but tell you what - how many fuck ups do we need up front before we score ? - decision making and final shot/ball from so many good positions and counter-attacks. Just does my head in. Could have done improving that GD regardless of the 3-0 win.

He consistently seems to allow people to run behind him. Often fails to track back and if he does usually just runs a few feet behind the opposition player. I think his positioning is not that of a top midfielder.
But he was great in attack today and didn’t play badly at all so credit where it’s due. Hopefully the defensive part of his game can be improved through coaching though I think his frequent absence from the team suggests the coaches are finding this a challenge.
We need him to stay just long enough for our game against them, happy for us to be the reason he's fired.
