You are seeing good play out of him for the first time in ages, because he's been getting games. He wouldn't have had much of any game time here based on how slot seems to run things.

Maybe Hughes didn’t fancy the paper work in Jan but if there was an offer we should have taken it. Offered nothing since, attitude has been poor.
 
All it needed was one more injury in the forwards to make losing Nunez a risk. Look at Gakpo now being injured slightly - and Jota not quite ready and at full flow. We are having to play midfielders in the forward line.
 
Even if he's shit losing a striker in the middle of a title race would be stupid if we didn't replace him. I remember when we sold Keane in January when we were still challenging and it defo didn't help
