There are a lot of teams in the PL looking for strikers this summer. Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle (if Isak leaves) and Villa. Hopefully we know our main target and will move early.
Agreed. He has developed into a complete striker this season. He can also move out to the wing/channels.
If possible I'd deffo go for him as the nr 1.

I am not convinced Isak will be worth the money or if we will ever go for him now. The ship had sailed when we chose Nunez over him back when he was affordable. It will be like the Caicedo situation. We might be able to afford a 100+m player in one position but that will blow out the rest of our budget for a number of years.
Especially if one or more of the big 3 is leaving, and we don't have the money to buy a replacement. That will be disastrous.

There was a lot of interest in January apparently. Dont think that type of fee is impossible given its Al Hilal and his former manager from Benfica as one of the teams chasing him.
The rumoured bid in January was 70 mill.
We don't have a good record with expensive strikers... Carroll and Benteke at the time were very high prices, same for Nuñez

Yeah, such a shame. You're looking at him and the nearest comparison I can think of is Suarez at Ajax. Is he worth the risk?
