Liverpool related transfer speculation

Fully agree with that assessment of him but I'm afraid I've found the reference. He said it in January on his Youtube channel.

I think that was in terms of leaving in the January window in all honesty. We seem to be very keen on Kerkez and he's deffo on the list this summer.

Bayern and Real Madrid are also interested btw, so will be interesting to see if we can pull it off.
40-45 mill is the quoted fee which I'm fine with.

Furry muff. I certainly hope that's right because I rate him and think he'd do well for us if he's happy with the move.

Big bad Dom and this guy would also repair the reputation of Hungarian LFC players (anyone remember Istvan Kozma?).

Didn't we sign some feeder club type agreement with a Hungarian club around the time of Rafa?

Gulacsi has gone on to have a great career. I'm still sad about Nemeth. He looked great for about 3 months ha.

I like the look of Lewis Hall at Newcastle but the Geordies would be loathe to sell and he would probably carry an English premium to boot

Aston Villa will have to sell, with 97% wage to revenue ratio even with the £100m CL boost it wouldn't mitigate their losses. Who would you take from them?

Out for the rest of the season with a foot injury unfortunately. That might bring the price down, but do we accept the increased risk?
I suppose we have to estimate what the risk is.
I have no idea if he is injury prone or not.
I just have been impressed by him any time I have seen him play.
I suspect we will be shopping for a cheaper option like one with a release clause.

All it needed was one more injury in the forwards to make losing Nunez a risk. Look at Gakpo now being injured slightly - and Jota not quite ready and at full flow. We are having to play midfielders in the forward line.
To be fair, I think anyone who suggested selling Nunez was always in mind with buying an able upgrade. Not just a sell without bringing anyone else especially when Jota is always injured.

Mate - literally not one of those sources are considered anywhere even near to reliable. They are rumour mongers (who invent their own rumours based on nothing).

Christian Falk reports that Liverpool ‘are interested’ in the VfB Stuttgart midfielder.

If the Reds are prepared to be patient, they could snap up the Barcelona-linked 23-year-old for as little as €36m [£30.2m] in 2026.

Of course, the superior finances available to Arne Slot’s outfit may very well enable the club to pursue an early transfer in the upcoming window.

“It’s true: Liverpool are interested in Angelo Stiller,” the head of football at the BILD Group told CaughtOffside in his exclusive Fact Files column.

“Stiller has a release clause in his contract – valued at €36m – which comes into play in 2026. We heard about interest from Liverpool, so they are watching him. It would be possible to get him in 2026. Of course, if they come in with a big offer this summer, it would also be possible to sign him early.”

Yeah I think Angelo Stiller is on the list.
I hope @rurikbird compiles another list of all the players we're linked to. I wonder how many from the old list actually joined.

We all know that they are going to flog him this summer for a much higher fee.
