Liverpool related transfer speculation

Rumored target, but has been quiet since Slot started.

Pacho was quoted 60 mill and leaves for 40, Gallagher quoted 50 and leaves for 33.
Maybe Hughes was right in regards to acting late in the window.

isnt that just negotiation, rather than timing?

If we wanted Gallagher, no chance we’d get a quote for anything under 60mill.

As for Pacho, seems we may have missed the boat on it if we wanted him, for a somewhat reasonable price in todays market.

[Matt Law] Tottenham keen to make progress on move for £65m-rated Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke

We get a piece of that action don't we?

When Liverpool sold Solanke to Bournemouth five-and-a-half years ago, they agreed a sell-on clause which would entitle them to 20 percent of any future profit.

And having received around £19 million from their initial deal with Bournemouth, if any club were to activate his release clause this summer they would receive a fifth of the remaining £46 million.

So if Tottenham did resolve to pay the £65 million to sign Solanke, Liverpool would be owed £9.2 million of that profit.

I am so happy, think of players we could go for with that 9.2M GPB, I am alraleady dreaming of seeing Anthony Gordons penis on our left wing next season. 9.2M GBP thats what we will get a pair of scouse bollox !!!

Love how it’s reported that Hughes and co are working hard behind the scenes. When doing nothing would have exactly the same result.

I would imagine they are collating a set of desired player characteristics per position, mapping out the longevity of the players in the squad, in the potential in our junior ranks and assessing the potential players across the globe.

The result should be a roadmap to dictate where we need to re-contract, on what terms, who we need to replace, when and a list of potentials to track for their replacement

'Course you can always say the club hasn't signed/extended anyway so they are all lazy cunts

Let’s be honest - Crowdstrike fucked their laptops and they use @Judge Jules repair guy…. So they’re staring at blue screens of death wondering why they can’t log on to City’s database.

Pep’s probably changed the password as well.

Finally....

Apparently some twitter rumblings in Portugal about Varella but could just be people cashing in after Ornsteins tweet.

Does anyone know much about him? Looks more in the deep lying playmaker mould from what I can see. He had a lovely out ball to either flanks, which I can see Slott welcoming. He has ensured our wide players hug the touchline in build up.

I only noted that Ornstein said he's a specialist.

And not that he's any good, or 'high calibre'

Has to be Varela or Zubimendi. Hughes has an excellent relationship with the latters agent after hiring Iraola for Bournemouth.

Yes but he apparently loved Calafiori too.

Varela and Zubimendi are too obvious for a Liverpool.

Has to be someone unexpected, like Ndayishimiye, Cardoso, Pietersen, or Oongolo.

i don't think it'll be zubimendi, too much chatter about him wanting to stay in spain
