Yes but he needs to know what he is - I get the impression from his performances that he prefers that "Wondering/Roaming" role because it's less effort than just defending first, and gives him the excuse to not engage the opposition. It's become like that in the last 3 seasons if we are honest, in our case he is quickly becoming our Marcus Rashford - so let him leave.

Those Cherki rumours are bull imo. He's not the type of player we sign and I really don't see where he fits in.
 
Kolo muani apparently is leaving psg. Any chance slot could salvage something from him? He was highly thought of at one stage
 
Marmoush and Joao Pedro would be mint. Though can't see how we get them in.

Think Jota and Darwin are both off in the summer, sadly.
 
Jota staying or going all depends on how he finishes the season.
Do you sell Jota if he stays fit and helps us win a title?
Would be extremely dumb.
However if he gets another serious injury that forces us to rotate Diaz and Darwin upfront, then yes his time might be up.
 
I'd wager that Jota will see out his contract here. The club don't sell players because they're always injured and I don't think that was a Klopp thing, I think it was because we refuse to reduce the valuation accordingly. It just is what it is.
 
I was curious when his contract expires and transfermarkt says 2027. If that's the case, there is a very good argument for selling him next year - assuming there is demand. I think he's great when fit but he'll be 29 in a year and his injury record is atrocious.

Jarell Hato can play CB and LB very pacey. Would cost around £40m
Cristian maresca from Valencia, is having contract dispute would cost €25m
Olivier Boscagli, 27 in the last year of his contract high football IQ cost less than £10m
Loic Bade, pacey defender 24 years old, the reported cost €25m

Why complicate things?
We really don't have to look that far to find decent young defenders.

Murillo - Forest
Dean Huijsen - Bournemouth
Jarrad Branthwaite - Neighbours

Also Deano is Dutch. He's apparently been on our shortlist for a while.
 
They all will cost a fortune. Murillo is a shortarse and Branthwaite looks like he has lost all ability to defend.

Just sign Vitor Reis from Palmerias. Thats the next CB star.
