As we exclusively reported on TDF, Sevilla have practically closed the sale of Loic Badé who, if nothing goes wrong, will leave for Liverpool in the winter transfer market . Despite the brilliant start of the English team, the sporting management wants to increase the rotation in the back line and the figure of the Frenchman has been a clear objective since last summer.
The Seville club is not going through its best moment financially, something that would also be reflected in the sporting arena. The Andalusians are currently prioritising the entry of money into the club's coffers and the departure of the Frenchman will undoubtedly help to increase the club's capacity to face the future.
For his part, the footballer, since his arrival in Sevilla in the summer of 2023, has done nothing but burn through stages within the club until becoming a fundamental player in the axis of the defence. This has undoubtedly aroused the interest of several Premier League teams, including
Aston Villa, but in the end it is Liverpool that has imposed itself in the negotiations.
Initially, Sevilla were demanding around €30M for the entire transfer, but in the end the amount of the operation was agreed at around €25M.

Probably bullshit, but I can see a scenario where Gomez leaves in the summer in order to play first team football and become an England regular again, and we replace him with this guy.
