Looked into it. The 'party pads' that could fit us all in are all fully booked.

Gutted i can’t join for this - the option of finding a big pub and being in there from about 2pm onwards is probably the best. Once you have seats, defend for your lives. Even for the CL i was out with mates from work but i went out as the sacrificial lamb to get a table from 4pm! On a Wednesday!

Bierkeller probably a decent option if there are enough tickets too - might be pricey but once you’ve got tickets & table you can pre drink cheap beer elsewhere first?

What's the deal with watching the game at Anfield? Too expensive? No booze? Just wondering why it isn't an option on here.

I am hating on myself something heavy today. I had a proposed work trip to Austin fall through a few weeks ago, and in a moment of frustration, cancelled my related appointment to renew my passport.

Now I find myself with enough money to get to Liverpool for the final, but potentially not enough time to sort a passport. I'm gonna give it a go regardless.

Anfield has a number of issues.

Firstly, where it is. Town atmosphere after 05 was unrivalled. So no real after party cos everyone will. Be headed there after so will take hours to get there.

Secondly, drink prices. As expensive as town.

Thirdly, not the same kind of intense atmosphere as a packed venue imo.
