LFC v Chelsea

I do fear for them against Munich....

Dn't underestimate those cunts mate ... Drogba, Lampard etc have been unreal over the past few weeks, and they all know it's their last chance for this trophy + a must win due to not being in CL next year if they don't. They may just beat Bayern - which would be tragic, but I've said they'd win it for a while now, so I'm well prepared for this tragedy.

Shreeves harping on about the 'carrot of finishing above Everton'. (Kenny loves his carrots!) Does anyone give a toss about finishing above Everton? If they were second I'd want to finish above them, but otherwise couldn't care less.

He also made a somewhat dubious attempt at kicking the ball behind him which looked more like a disguised lunge at Ivanovic's thigh. It didn't go unnoticed by the commentators.

Just like that time he deliberately tried to kill Scotty Parker. I'm just really grateful we don't have to deal with souness anymore - he actually tried to kill players on the pitch.

I don't care. But then I don't have any Bitters around to gloat.

Nonesense. The commentator is a twat who doesn't like Suarez. "Only Suarez knows if he was going for the ball". He was in the six yard box, he was much more interested in setting something up than hurting Ivanovic.

Here I am mark. Yeah, that was a weakened Chelsea side ;-) putting that aside, you can only beat what is put in front of you. Nice to score a few goals also, so lets try and enjoy it and put this woeful season behind us. It still doesn't change my belief on Kenny though ;-) There you go, I've posted after a victory

Wheres the usual moaning bellends to tell us how poor a chelsea side it was?

This is a woeful post, this exactly the type of stuff you been moaning about for the past few months to other posters.........

It was good win in a game when there was no pressure on us to perform, we played like this the back end of the season.

On Sunday I saw a kid who looked exactly like Henry VIII in those Holbein paintings. I meant to mention it earlier but forgot.

Yeah, I'm the same. If it meant the difference between a title or not, a Champions League place or not then I'd give a shit. The difference between finishing 7th or 8th? Nah, not arsed.

We were incredible

I don't care what stage if the season it is. Today was filled positives

Henderson /shelvey

The future?

Just saw Henderson's goal again - lovely technique. Really pleased for the lad. Now push on next season Jordan!

Wrong. Suarez, like Zokora did to Emre in Turkey this past week (check it out - horrific tackle), wanted to hurt Ivanovic.

The future?

Not sure about that but they took their goals really well. If only we had shown such composure throughout the season...

Definitely positives there, as Ross said though, it shows how much a difference having two 'footballers' in the middle makes.

True but they will not have Terry nor will they have Ramires, who in my humble opinion is their best player.

Is Ivanovic suspended as well?? Cole?? I think they have 4 or 5 out isnt it?

I think your wrong (although I wish you weren't because Ivanovic should have been sent off for that elbow on Carroll).

not having Terry will be a god send

Terry, Ivanovic, Meirless and Ramires.

yes, Ramires has been great for them this year. They'll miss that engine and goal scoring play from wherever he plays.

I'm joking mate ... I don't think suarez on Ivanovic on either player was intentional. That's what aggressive players tend to do.

I don't think Ivanovic's play deserved red. It was a yellow.

I do think Essien's tackle on Carroll was a straight red though, and Shelvey - based on new rules - was probably too (when he blocked Ramires's shot).

Jesus Mark, what happened to you?

Nowt, I was eagerly anticipating someone mentioning how it meant nothing, the pressure was off, Chelsea were shite etc etc. Oh, and there it is.

I loved it Gene, it was a great game, frustrating that we can't do that more regularly but enjoyable none the less and great to see a few of the younger lads taking responsibility against a largely experienced side of Internationals (it wasn't that bad a side was it? Torres, Essien, Terry, Malouda...).

Good gift back to the fans after a woeful record at Anfield this season, now let's make that the bench mark or at least a point of reference for next season when we try to stick to the pressing and pass & move game.

Carroll was unplayable tonight.
Carragher was excellent and the difference between Shelvey and Spearing is night and day.
