Last quarter of of the season had us on track to win the title. Hopefully we can bring in the players needed to reignite the high standards over an entire season again.
Yet some think we can fetch 30m for him, laughable really.
If I thought we could take the team to the next level, I'd say sell him but we'd probably end up hurting the team further so pointless

This is where forward planning, not sentiment, come in. We had some pretty ruthless managers back in our heydays who saw the decline in a player before most and moved him on. The question is, is the decline because of systemic issues we have in other areas?
It depends on who you ask ... and I'm trying to stay away from that conversation!
