Kanchelkis was brilliant for most of his time with the mancs. 100s of times better than anything we have at the moment. Not sure if Del actually saw him play then.

His career seemed to go downhill after leaving them though

Don't think so. I mean he was a good player but kanchelskis is a bit past it now

Except that Kuyt has a better goal scoring record over a similar amount of games at Liverpool that Kanchekis had while at Man Ure.

But why let facts get in the way of nonsense...

ZIIIIINGGGG

Er, no. I like Deadly and I've defended him on here, but goalscoring's not the only measure of quality even for a striker, let alone in other positions. Deadly's a more versatile player but Kanchelskis was the better winger IMHO.

To my knowledge ( but I may be wrong) Kanchelkis never played centre forward for the mancs. All his goals were scored as a winger. But as well as scoring goals he also played like a winger, beating his man, getting in crosses, creating goals.Something we havnt had in a long long time.

Like I said way better than anything we have at the moment.

As I also said his career went downhill fast after he left the mancs.

I think its enlightening that even you think you have to tread on eggshells if you are not calling Kuyt the best winger we could possible have and a goalscoring prodigy and etc.
It is a great complement to Kuyt that his fans defend his values with complete denial of his shortcomings and with as much effort as he plays. But a winger, our Dirk Kuyt is not. You know that little space between the 18 yard box and the corner flag/touch line; the space Kuyt never gets into and delivers a cross(in the air) with a man picked out. Thats one of the most important jobs of a winger. Stretch the defense wide and get the FB backpedaling and so worried about the wings that everything else attacking becomes that much easier. GJ attacks that space for Kuyt when he is playing but it makes undeniably less solid at the back.

(I know you like Kuyt (more as a striker I'm assuming given the post) and I know I'm in the minority with my opinion but c'est la vie)

1 in 5 is pretty good for a winger, Del. Works out at about ten goals a season.
I also realise that my rating of him is a little irrational. I did hate him after all.

I AM off sick and Roger IS a deplorable cunt.

EDIT: Sorry, I mean his posts are deplorably cuntish.
Enough said.

Admittance of one's purposely erred judgement due to hatred of
1) player himself
2) poster

Stats these days do not count anymore because of the above.

And the funny thing is...never did I imply that he was a goal scoring king. All I said was he shits goals and rightly so, because at one point in time, he really did for a winger.

You know what...for your satisfaction, perhaps i should have used 'he CAN shit goals' instead.

Take pedantry and go shove it up your arse.

And when all else fails, just use the tagline 'Roger is a shit cnut and his posts are shit' to save face.

Whatever happened to originality ffs ??!

God that sentence is so gay.

CSKA Moscow attacker Milos Krasic insists that Liverpool do not have the necessary means to meet the price that has been placed on his head.

The Serbia international was tipped to join the Merseyside club and link up with his international team-mate, Milan Jovanovic, in an adventure at Anfield. But the 25-year-old believes that his ambitions, coupled with the Reds' difficulty in meeting his price tag, will ensure that the potential move does not take place.

"I'd love to be in the same jersey as him [Jovanovic]," Krasic said, according to The News of the World.

"But it is, at least for now, mission impossible.

"I'm familiar with the situation at Liverpool.

"The price set by my team is too high for the English giants and, frankly, I have other ambitions."

Following the player's revelations, it has been claimed that Real Madrid have pipped Liverpool to pole position in the race to secure the signature of the highly-rated attacker.

Completely agree. Quite why he hasn't found a cure for cancer during those spells on the right-wing when he doesn't have the ball is also a mystery to me. One trick pony.
