He seems promising enough for 12M Euros.

Never seem him play and I certainly will not get my hopes up, but it is encouraging to be linked to creative players.

Height: check
Pace: check
Strength: check.

Hair. Check

Know fuck all about him. Bet we dont sign him though.
Serbian media......as fucking if.

He seems a bit of a wannabe pretty boy.

He'll certainly feel insecure next to Nando.

He reminds me of Andrei Kanchelskis, from the way he plays.
I'm hoping he does a little more than kick it 10 yards ahead and run after it.
You do realize that at one time, Kanchelskis was widely regarded as one of the best RW in the country don't you ?

And he shits goals too. Loads of them.

Kick and run ? One-trick pony ? Don't think so.

Kanchelskis was vastly overrated. By Man Utd fans, mainly. You may disagree, but then you're wrong most of the time, so that only serves to highlight the fact.

And who are you referring to with regards to 'shitting' goals? Because neither Kanchelskis nor Krasic have a particularly spectacular record in that respect. You should really do your research before making wildly inaccurate claims Roger.

I always thought Kanchelskis was great, exactly what you want in a winger. He fucked us up a couple of times. If this guy was in any way, shape or form a new-Kanchelskis, I'd be well pleased.

He did play well against other teams to be fair. I'm sure there were 2 or 3 seasons where he scored quite heavily in addition to a myriad of assists.
He was clearly the best right winger in the Prem for a period of 3 or 4 years, even after moving to Everton.

When he beats a player on the wing and bears down on goal, I can do a comedy Chinese accent and say "Krasic Skills!"
Ahem, that is Japanese my friend.

Chinese will be Klasic Skeels!

Krasic's agent just denied that any agreement is in place. He also said that any club willing to buy his client will have to negotiate with CSKA first and in his opinion Liverpool probably don't have enough money to afford Krasic's transfer fee anyway.

Andrei was United's leading goalscorer in the 1994-95 season with 15 goals in 32 games (14 of them in the Premier League).
Kanchelsksis had played 145 times for United and scored 48 goals in the space of four years.
His first season with Evershite saw him score 16 goals.

Not bad for a 'kick and run' winger eh ?

I think those comments are old Rurikbird..

Liverpool are the favourites to sign the Serbian winger Milos Krasic at the end of the season along with his international team-mate Milan Jovanovic who has already agreed to join the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Krasic, 25, has one year left on his contract with CSKA Moscow and has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs. He is rated at £10m and has said he will not be signing a new contract with the Russian club. There was interest in him during the January transfer window from Manchester City.

Liverpool have made enquiries about a deal this month although reports in Serbia yesterday that Krasic has signed a pre-agreement to join them do not tally with Fifa rules governing transfers. Liverpool believe they have the upper hand on signing Krasic because of his close friendship with Jovanovic. As well as playing together for Serbia in their successful World Cup qualifying campaign, they started their careers together at Vojvodina. Jovanovic, 28, whose contract with Standard Liège runs outs in the summer, also lived with Krasic when he played for Lokomotiv Moscow earlier in his career.

The two players have been a major part of Serbia's recent success. Jovanovic was the top goalscorer in the World Cup campaign and can play as a striker or on the right wing. Krasic tends to be deployed as a left-winger but can also play in midfield.

Jovanovic said yesterday: "I have yet to undergo a medical but that shouldn't be a problem. I opted to sign for Liverpool because they're one of the biggest teams around in Europe. "

He had two prolific seasons in his entire career. Care to mention the rest of them?

In fact, don't bother. Just look at the goals/game ratio highlighted at the bottom of the figures you quoted. If you're struggling, it's about 1 in 5.

If he 'shits' goals then he must be feeling awfully constipated.

I always presumed Krasic was a right winger, yet the article states he likes to play on the left.

Bet Rafa is buying him for the left anyway, just like Babel and now Maxi seems to be put out there.

1 in 5 is pretty good for a winger, Del. Works out at about ten goals a season.

Its ok. Let him be. Some people just like to argue for nothing.

All hail Del, the smartest man on 6CM.

And the people of the world go, "Wow !"

Here are his (league) scoring stats by club:

22 (1)
21 (3)
123 (28)
52 (20)
26 (2)
76 (13)
10 (0)
1 (0)
3 (0)
32 (3)

It's from wiki but Roger shouldn't mind that since the fist part of his last post was shamelessly lifted from there. The vast majority of his goals were concentrated in two prolific seasons - the ones Roger highlighted. I think you'll agree that the rest of his career afforded a fairly modest return.

Now, I'm not disputing that 1 in 5 is a decent return for a winger. It's exactly that. Decent. However, when someone uses the expression 'shits goals', I expect that person to score a little more frequently than Andrei Kanfuckingchelskis.

I also realise that my rating of him is a little irrational. I did hate him after all. However, I maintain that he was a 'kick and run' specialist, in a similar way that Lennon is. That is, his close ball control was nothing special, and you knew exactly what he was going to do most of the time, but he was just too quick to stop it. I also freely admit that we could do with one of these ourselves. It would make a change from the 'kick' specialists we currently have on the wings.

But my main bone of contention was Roger's wildly inaccurate claim that he was some kind of goal scoring king. He wasn't. I realise I've reached new levels of pedantry here but in my defence, I AM off sick and Roger IS a deplorable cunt.

EDIT: Sorry, I mean his posts are deplorably cuntish.

Enough said.

Admittance of one's purposely erred judgement due to hatred of :-
1) player himself
2) poster

Stats these days do not count anymore because of the above.

And the funny thing is...never did I imply that he was a goal scoring king. All I said was he shits goals and rightly so, because at one point in time, he really did for a winger.

You know what...for your satisfaction, perhaps i should have used 'he CAN shit goals' instead.

Take pedantry and go shove it up your arse.

And when all else fails, just use the tagline 'Roger is a shit cnut and his posts are shit' to save face.

Whatever happened to originality ffs ??!

Hey Del, next time in future, why bother 'debating' and embarassing yourslef with that lengthy explanation to justify yourself in public ?

You should've just typed out 'Roger is a shit cnut and his posts are shit' right from the beginning of this thread.

Would've saved you so much time and blood pressure.

Hmm- Del *was* being a bit over the top here it must be said.

It is certainly the case that Kanchelskis had a few really golden years, and then lost something. I think that when he was at the height of his powers he was much better than Del allows. For a substantial (latter) part of his career he was fairly mediocre though, no doubt.
