Milos Krasic is a fast, energetic winger who likes to score goals. He has decent technique and footwork, although most of the time he beats his man with his speed more than anything else. He is a hardworking player and working with Gazzaev (who is the best coach in Russia IMO) taught him how to be useful in defense as well. His favorite position is RW, on occasion he also played central AM (with mixed success) and when Gazzaev's CSKA employed a 3-4-1-2 system, usually Krasic would play a wing-back responsible for the entire right flank (with Zhirkov similarly covering the entire left flank).
Now about the downsides. Krasic is a selfish player who often tries to do too much all by himself. At times he would score a wonder goal by storming from the right and beating 3 opposition players and that goal would make highlight reels and youtube compilations. But youtube won't show you all the numerous occasions when Krasic passed up a better option because of being so narrow-mindedly focused beating every human shape on his way to the goal that he doesn't notice his teammates at all.
Of course, every great winger, including Ronaldo, went through a stage of being too selfish. Some players eventually mature and learn better decision-making, and some don't. I didn't see Krasic play recently, so I can't tell you if he seems to have turned the corner or is close to turning the corner. I have to say when I was watching CSKA 2-4 years ago, I always liked Zhirkov more and out of the whole CSKA team it was Zhirkov, not Krasic that I would bet will become a big-time player.
We'll just have to wait and see... At the moment, I can't say I am on Krasic bandwagon.
