I saw Snow Patrol once. They were playing for free at the square in town so I went down to see them. After about 3 minutes I had decided they were shite so I went over to my mate's bar on the same square and luckily he had also been listening to them and decided to turn his volume right up to drown them out.

They're just dirge. No wonder Thom Yorke binned all the guitars for Kid A, he looked at the world after Ok Computer came out and saw it populated with Coldplay, Keane, Snow Patrol, Travis and the like. What a fucking legacy.
 
I went to see Noel Gallagher in Vancouver and he was supporting Snow Patrol. WTF? We stayed for a few Snow Patrol songs as we were already there but there was a mass exodus of Irish and English as soon as poor ole Gary Lightbody uttered the words, "We're gonna play some of our new stuff".
