Last night was his last home game for Manchester Utd seeing as he’s leaving the club on a free after 22 years. No, this is not a sign him thread. He’s shite.

But, I see there is a lot about him not getting on the pitch for a few minutes for a last good bye to the fans. Ragnick obviously couldnt give a flyging sentimental fuck.
He instead brought on Cavani and Jones in the 75th minute when 3-0 up.

Do you think he should have gotten a few minutes for a proper send off?
22 years is something regardless of shitness, or isnt he a big enough enough star to warrant that type of treatment?

I actually think that they not bothering about it tells you all you need to know about how Utd as a club is run these days.
Klopp would deffo have brought him on.

Didn't they make pretty unreasonable demands during the Jan transfer window too, despite knowing he'll be leaving on a free.

I don't think he's sh!te. He was mint last year for West Ham and could be again in the right set-up. If he has any sense (and if they want him) he'll head back there.

Obviously you bring him on ... common decency to a good servant.

Hes not shit either... nothing special but a good player

Was worried it would be a rip thread

I read some of the threads about it elsewhere, he hadn’t been training for a week before this and Ragnick hasn’t been keen on him since he spilled the beans on how shit things were internally to Scholes who blurted it out on TV.

I don’t like him, to me he’s the epitome of the modern privileged, social media loving, work ethic lacking footballer. But he probably still deserved a few minutes.

I agree, I don't think he's crap either. He's miles better than the likes of Fred, Pogba, Sancho and others. Like Mata, they seem to be surprised when he plays well, he's quality. They've mis-managed these players.

Better than Pogba? …. At chess?

Harsh, but entirely fair.

Indeed. The point was less about Lingard and more about players leaving after long commitments and at what point do you deserve a final farewell.

After 22 years I’d be gutted if I didnt get 2 mins in my final game.
Shit player, cunt or whatever.

Klopp would have sent him on.

I feel as outraged about this as when City failed to get their best player / captain / legend of a player cake for his birthday.

I left a company after working with them for 13 years and was asked about a leaving do. I politely declined…. Basically because I didn’t see the point in having a gathering of people In thought were mostly cunts that I didn’t like and didn’t want to be around, so that we could all be fake and pretend we gave a fuck about each other or that we’d miss each other.

If poor Jesse Lingard is upset that the fans who have likely been calling him out for the useless fuck that he is for the last god knows how long, didn’t get the chance to thank him for his years of mediocrity…. Then he’s an even bigger idiot.

Should we be hoping Klopp bring in Larius Karius a chance to come on and say goodbye to the fans at the last home game - he is after all the equal second longest serving player bought by Klopp (with Martip and by a few days from Mane).

How should we commemorate his 6 years with us?

CL final against Madrid and you had to remind everyone about Karius, didn't you!!!

I liked the Madonna 'Dear Jesse' song. I don't believe it was written about Lingard though.

You’re still missing the point Stevie. Its not about Jesse Lingard.
And how is 6 years of Karius comparable to 22 years, local lad and being at a club from the age of 7?

The argument is where do you draw the line? Karius is the obvious answer in one end of the scale.

We should chop him and bring him on in six pieces - one for every year.

By now he should now better - your dreams are never free.

I don’t agree that Klopp would be sentimental like that. Should we need a win last game of the season against wolves, only 1-0 up, would he bring on someone shite for sentimental reasons? Would he fuck. He’s driven to win before anything like that.

Back to lingard, he has a handful of games per season over his time there, won next to fuck all and barely contributed but has been handsomely rewarded. A multi millionaire bang average player. He doesn’t deserve a big send off.

Lingard is shite, United and their fans are cunts and I care nothing about either.

I draw the line at…. If they don’t play for Liverpool… then I could not give two hairy fucks what these pampered wankers do or do not get.

In fact… I’m fucking delighted… because he’s shite and the fact he spent 22 years at that club shows how fucking shite they are and have been…. and also what a pack of horrible cunts they are.

Why in fucks name should I care whether “that” fucking club continues to act like a pack of cunts?

The fact he thinks he deserves a send off tells you everything you need to know about him.

The fact he was there for 22 years tells you everything you need to know about them as a club.
