Someone, I can't remember who suggested that he plays very much in the Gerrard role and that if he were to come in then it would probably be as a replacement for Stevie.

I think it is St George that is always championing his cause.
No doubt he will end up at another club as a superstar and in five years time we will be having the "If only we had signed Martinez when we had the chance" conversation.
