Ps-Alan Hansen is the biggest loss ever to a club. 20 years of dominance ended with a dodgy knee.

No Chance, Rushy and Dalglish were our biggest losses.
Did we not win the league after Kenny had retired and while Rushie was in Italy? I honestly don't know btw but I know we didn't win it after Jocky (my favourite Liverpool player ever) retired.

Not really.

When Rush left the first time Barnes, Aldridge and Beardsley came in. When he left the second time we had Robbie Fowler at his best. Rush was the greatest goalscorer we have ever had but we replaced him without much of a problem thankfully

As for Kenny, well although we have never had a player as good as he was at his best, the period when he stopped playing didn't coincide with any any serious dip in our success did it?
Kenny was semi-retired for years while we still won things.

Indeed. 86 and 87 he still played quite a few games but in 88 he only played twice and that was generally recognised as our best league season of that period

Did he retire young?
Not especially no. I'm only being semi-serious. There were a bunch of factors that led to us becoming the shambolic crazy old man dressed as Sinatra and telling everyone he was quite the lounge singer in his time that we have now become.
