Yet another little fantasy transfer thread ruined by talk of Bendtner. Arsenal fans don't even fucking like him.

Arsenal fans love him to bits. At least the clever ones.

Anyways back to Carroll and Llorente then.

It's not blind patriotism, it's just coincidence that KHL loves *every* Danish player in the top leagues and genuinely values their footballing abilities.

Agger, Kjaer and Bendtner aren't the only Danish players in the top leagues mind. Don't let that ruin your otherwise great post.

I would actually cry if we signed Bendtner.
Why is that Anita?

Ha good man. I think Bendtner's movement at times is very good but his finishing can leave alot to be desired.

I like Carroll. I think he would be an excellent 3rd choice striker option for us. Big, strong, great in the air, decent on the deck, decent finisher etc. He's only going to get better.

I want Giuseppe Rossi to play off Torres. He's a wonderful little footballer.

Do you not find it odd khl that almost everyone disagrees with you on this one?
It amazes me even mate. But it's not the first time mind.

Even the Norwegians on here called me crazy when I first suggested Hangeland.

I've always liked Rossi too but I doubt he'll ever go back to England. Carroll is a right beast in the air and looks a real player too but probably not interested in a 3rd striker position.

I would have agreed with this a few years ago Anita, but in recent years we've signed Lucas, Konchesky, Pennant, Nunez, Zenden, Poulsen, etc............I'm all cried out!

No they're not, but Poulsen came along and you treated us all to why he'd be a very good player for us. How we were all surprised.

You get all defensive whenever this topic comes up with the odd "mate" and joke chucked in for good measure, but everyone can see you're biased as all hell and no amount of supposed reasoned arguing is going to change that.

But by all means carry on.

Mate come on. Untill this moment Poulsen has done nothing but prove my defense of him wrong. I've said that on numerous occasions already, mate.

I have never suggested him on here however as I've not seen him as the ideal solution nor replacement for neither Alonso nor Masher. When however it was obvious that he was coming in and Masher was leaving I was merely trying to point out why he could turn out to be shrewd buy.

I was wrong it seems. It happens.

Mate.

can't you just stop banging on about every danish player who can kick a ball straight? it's ridiculous. i mean, bendtner as a dream signing - come on! he's an OK premier league striker with a sit attitude, THAT'S IT.

It's a bit unfair to suggest that Bendtner would be as poor as those players mentioned because I think he's a decent player but I don't think he's the answer to our forward problems. When we signed Robbie Keane I was thoroughly underwhelmed despite the fact he's a decent player and signing Bendtner would leave me feeling similarly unimpressed.

It's ok to be biased but at certain point when you can't realize you are being biased is when it's just plain stupid.

For the record I think Bendtner can become a very good footballer and even a starter at a big team at some point. Being a regular starter at an upper mid table team would be a much better place for him than Arsenal right now. That said I'd never ever include him in any kind of fantasy £75m lists. And to claim Bendtner at the moment is better than Llorente is again just plain stupid.

Oh and my £75m list would be:
Bale
Pastore
Lukaku or Müller

I'm biased and I follow certain footballers with great interest for several good reasons.

Anyways to be honest I haven't seen that much of Llorente but why do you all reckon him to be the better striker of the two?

Bale, Pastore and Müller would be downright awesome btw. Lukaku sounds special but again I've only seen very sparse glimpses of him.

Ask them again but only the clever ones.

PS Why do anyone 'fcuking hate' their own players in the first place? I don't like Lucas the footballer but fucking hate him? Nah.

Rotation player from Arsenal vs. one of La Ligas in form players(linked to both Barca and Real) plus a Spanish international? Even if you haven't seen either of them play it shouldnt be a tough choice. : )

Bendtner will soon enough be linked to Barca or Real (if that's a benchmark of value). Or Both. You'll see.

Bendtner has talent, but needs to keep his ego in check.
Don't get me wrong I can easily understand why some people find him irritating and full of hot air but I kind of like this big ego of his.

Actually I believe the better the striker often the bigger ego. At least you shouldn't ask strikers to believe less in themselves.

Off the pitch he's a very down to earth lad but he's always wanted to be the best at what his does. Given him shitloads of enemies along the way but also a lot of fans. And one of his biggest is Arsene Wenger who is rather well-known for his great eye for talent.

Look at the way he took his goal against Citeh after beeing sidelined for more than four months and then again yesterday after 80 minutes of play against Newcastle in his first full match from kick-off.

Imagine if our strikers looked that sharp after having just returned from four months of injury? We'd be exstatic wouldn't we?

We've been linked to Mario Gomez yet again.

Bayern wants Dzeko and that'll free him for his duties.

I actually wouldn't mind that bet. Not at £20M but say for half of that - he could turn out to be a good option.

Big and strong and at least once back in his Stuttgart days he knew how to find the net on a regular basis.
