He’s too brain dead for that.

There are 21 more days for the City game. There are a whole host of diseases he can be infected with, muscles he can pull, bones he can break in that time frame. Especially if he is traveling over the international break. Even if he isn't traveling, he will be engaging in perilous activities like walking on grass, kicking a ball, etc. No point in making any plan with him.

It's unbelievable. He obviously couldn't be fucked playing for England, told Klopp he "felt something" with a wink wink nose tap, and off he goes to our medical team who seem to have him fighting for his career if not his life now.

I reckon Joe Gomez…Be interesting to see who Klopp goes with .
In Klopp we trust !

A predicted team below, who knows though

There is no Trent Alexander-Arnold, which means that someone will have to come in for him. James Milner has been ill lately but I'm starting with him if possible. Otherwise, it will be Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konaté can come into the side (I'm going with Virgil van Dijk).
In midfield, I want to see Fabinho or Jordan Henderson in there. The Brazilian has played less football so I'd go with him. Alongside him, it should be three from Harvey Elliott, Naby Keïta and Curtis Jones. I'm going for the former two, though Jones will feel a little aggrieved.
Up top, even more decisions to make. Mohamed Salah does not need to be risked. I would be looking at playing Roberto Firmino and I think Diogo Jota probably could play as well. Takumi Minamino probably deserves to start the game so that means Luis Díaz and Sadio Mané must come off the bench.
My starting XI: Alisson; Milner, Gomez, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Fabinho, Elliott, Keïta; Minamino, Firmino, Jota

I love having a player who would rather play for us than their national side. It so rarely happens.

Trent Alexander-Arnold in race to be fit for Liverpool’s trip to Manchester City

Trent Alexander-Arnold faces a race against time to be fit for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with title rivals Manchester City.

The England right-back is expected to miss Saturday’s meeting with Watford at Anfield and next Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg away to Benfica due to the hamstring injury he sustained against Arsenal prior to the international break.

The game with Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad on April 10 is viewed as a possible comeback date for the 23-year-old.

Sources have indicated, however, that the trip to City would still represent a quick return to action given the nature of the problem.

Alexander-Arnold, who has been doing his rehab at Dubai’s Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, has some important hurdles to clear in the coming week before he is given the green light to resume full training at Kirkby.

A sense of optimism is fuelled by the fact that he has previously returned earlier than expected from injury setbacks but Jurgen Klopp won’t take any risks with his most creative player.

Alexander-Arnold, who was forced to drop out of the England squad for the games against Switzerland and Ivory Coast, has made 11 assists in the Premier League this season — more than any other player.

Joe Gomez, who deputised admirably at right-back for the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest, is likely to retain his place until Alexander-Arnold returns.

Liverpool face a potentially season-defining April as they chase an unprecedented quadruple.

Naby Keita withdrew from the Guinea squad last week due to a knee problem he picked up against Forest but that issue is understood to be minor.

I was watching this documentary on the plane. It was called Trent’s Vision.

I may have seen short clips of it on YouTube but not the full length feature. Showed Trent to be a decent humble local Scouse lad, grounded with good family support. Can’t believe he’s still so young, yet so competitive and ambitious.

If all goes well, I reckon Trent will be the future Liverpool captain.

I think he is now part of the Captains group, maybe as Gini's replacement.

League wise:

[article]Alexander-Arnold has set up 11 goals in 2021/22. That is on the back of 213 crosses, a total only bettered by Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse, who has swung in 230 balls.

He also ranks in the top 10 for passes made with 1,740 and has had the second most touches with 2,490.

Just as importantly, he has helped shut out the opposition 16 times in the 26 games he has played for the Merseyside club.[/article]
