Great. Let's make a list of tasty players we won't end up signing.
Boooo. Crap thread

Nicolas Schiappacasse 16 years old striker - From Uruguay and everything... Oh but Athletico have just bought him. Bugger, we all know what happened the last time they snapped up a 16 year old south american striker wonderkid!

Erm, no...

Angel Correa.
I first noticed this lad when he played for San Lorenzo. He then moved to Atlético, suffered health issues, and hopefully it's behind him.
He's a street cat just like Suarez.
I think Atlético will have to sell Griezmann as they will not be able to resist a big offer, and then this lad may become the next big thing.

I LOVE THIS GAME!

We could start by looking at Ajax from where we got Suarez and their Polish striker Milik. No way near the trickster as Suarez but he certainly does score goals. Thinking about it he's far more 'Torres'-like. He's defo worth an extra look though.

When I've been really blinkered I've compared Viktor Fischer to Suarez, mainly because of his opportunistic, direct approach never afraid of taking on players and do the unthinkable. He's obv nowhere near the class of Suarez and odds are that he won't reach his levels ever. Will be fun to watch him in the Prem next Season though, he might just look like a £30M winger/forward soon - I think the talent is there.

Ousmane Dembele also seems like a monster prospect but as young as he is he won't reach the heights of Suarez any time soon I guess.

Fact is, there are not many that will are there?

Perhaps someone we haven't really heard much of in Russia or Brazil. I mean Douglas Costa from Bayern has probably been the player I've been the most impressed with all Season. Didn't know much about him on beforehand despite having actually seen him play a few times for Shaktar and then BANG. So by that token that Musa-type from CSKA is perhaps worth a shout? Definitely got goals and speed it seems.

My final shout Sane from Schalke. Such a treat for the eye the way he moves with and without the ball, great skill, immense technique, admirable audacity. He'll be a world class winger/forward no doubt about that. He does remind me a bit of a young Cristiano Ronaldo more than Suarez though. But we might just have to accept that.

Heh, straying a little from the brief here!

So who is the striker, within our limits of attraction, who is going to excite us again?

Consider yourself the transfer committee.

Great shout

He was arguably the 3 /4th best player in the world when he left us.

A player like icardi is someone potentially similar. Great talent, suspect temperament

I think he still is the 3rd of 4th best player in the world. Personal opinion.

south america somewhere..probably in brazil argentina uruguay or chile.

suarez
neymar
tevez
aguero
falcao
messi
costa
hulk
cavani
forlan
bacca
higuain
martinez
sanchez

but at this present time dybala looks likely to reach his levels.

What about Vietto.
He was hot poo a year ago but its not worked out at Atletico.
Bet we could get him cheapish.

Someone with tricks, low centre of gravity and dogged determination.
I'm judging people by YouTube clips but he does look great

I didn't see too much of Icardi, but he doesn't look similar to Suarez at all to me. Just a fox-in-the-box type and not much else. Suarez is a much more complete and versatile player.

Being remade for the current gen of consoles. The videos released show it playing the same way but with option of 3d view if you want it & better replays/graphics etc.
