Reina has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave for £20million.

Hope to fuck this is bollocks.

There's no way I'd sell him for that

very worrying. I hope henry was persuasive because riena is the player I would least like to leave in our entire squad.

Ballauge said the other day that no such clause excists and neither player wants to leave in the near future.

Yeah back to reading gospel from Daily Mail.

Nah, Ballague isn't the best source. But the reports are very conflicting. The Telegraph are also reporting now that Reina has a 20 mill £ clause and Torres has a gentlemans agreement that he can leave if a good offer comes in if we don't finish 4th.

Henry will do his utmost to convince them not to activate their "agreements".

If he spends and improves the team, and we're moving in the right direction. I think this is a moot point. They both would want to win something at Anfield, and leaving will become irrelavant.

At the end of the gif for the 2nd goal, you can see Terry look up with a depressed FFS expression.

I think that's probably right. Wouldn't surprise me if these "stories" were leaked on their behalf to put pressure on the club to get busy in the market come January.

He does the same after the first goal.

I'm surprised he didn't do his patented salmon dive to block the shot for the second goal

He was too busy kneeing Torres in the head.

offload highly paid fringe players? like?
okay, babel is an obvious name, and then?
I think it's worth pointing out that
poulsen
aurelio
and cole
highly paid, contributed little and signed on the current manager's watch.
How 'highly' paid are Aurelio & Poulsen?
Cole will be on good money but Bosman signings usually are.

Agger & Babel are the main two and then we need to sign better quality players and make some current starters squad players.
The likes of Skrtel, Lucas, Maxi spring to mind.

we need to get agger off the wage bill
Inter Milan manager Rafael Benitez is planning to raid former club Liverpool for Danish centre-back Daniel Agger as a replacement for Walter Samuel, who is out for the season with knee ligament damage.

Could Agger even pass a medical now? And if so what would be a reasonable amount in most peoples opinion, hes still wuite young in centre back terms, experienced playing for a big club, Id want 10 million to consider letting him go

Agger's current injury scuppers any hopes of a deal but get him back and fit then its likely to happen in the Summer.
