Look, his goal return is impressive enough but he won't get 20+ goals in the Premiership. He is said to be a traditional number 10 but I would prefer Coutinho in that position.
20M is a shitload to blow on an Armenian player. That is a massive gamble. The alternative would be Eriksen for less. I'm not so sure about where either would fit in the team but lets see what he adds to the club. Let's hope that he is better that what we already have.

Nationality isn't a factor but by all account Armenia are worldbeaters I suppose and 20M by Liverpool standards isn't a massive gamble.
Cheap foreign imports often work out better than expensive local products. 15 million cheaper than Andy Carroll and will probably score more goals.

I expect that the Henri lad is a capable finisher from looking at his stats. Hopefully he can keep it up and improve us from the start. he'll be on half the wages Andy was on.

True but he's nowhere near a 35M player. More like 10M and we're doing well to get 15.5M from WHU.
Big Sam wouldn't care. Andy is exactly the type of player he dreams about. That they intend building the team around him is telling enough. He'll probably save them from relegation so it will be money well spent covered by tv money.
