Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is trying to force through a move to Liverpool after he was spotted in a London hotel today.
The £23million-rated Mkhitaryan is supposed to be in Austria with Shakhtar Donestk during their pre-season training. The team have threatened to fine Mkhitaryan for missing training. However, Shakhtar reportedly only own part of his rights, thus making the transfer a very complicated process.
Now that Mkhitaryan was spotted in a London hotel this morning, and it is definitely him according to a Liverpool supporter who snapped the photo and saw him flash his Armenian passport, the ball is in Liverpool’s court to see if they can close the dea

all the evidence i need !

...and the bad news: he met this really friendly guy, Peter Odemwingie, who offered to give him a lift up to Anfield.

Borussia Dortmund looks set to snare Liverpool in their pursuit of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The midfielder's current whereabouts remain unknown despite Shakhtar Donestk requesting that all players reported to them last weekend ahead of pre-season training, amid growing speculation in the player's native Armenia that a move to Anfield could be imminent.

According to Shakhtar, Liverpool have yet to make a formal approach for the 24-year-old and the Ukrainian club's chief executive Sergei Palkin has revealed that Champions League finalists Dortmund have tabled an offer of $30million (£19.5M) for the player.

“I don’t know where Mkhitaryan is, now; solely his agent knows this," he told Terrikon.

"Borussia offered $30 million for the midfielder. I contacted Mkhitaryan’s agent yesterday. I wrote to him about the official position of the club.

"We are prepared to sell Mkhitaryan for €30m (£25M). This offer stands for the next 10 days. If Mkhitaryan wishes to leave, they have to pay this amount for him,

I'd assume the player wanting to come here may factor in strongly, & he'll have a lot less competition for his place here.

I know this sounds like wishful thinking, but I genuinely believe Shaktar are making this up to force our hand. Their CEO seems to change his mind every other day, and he just seems shadey.

Logic dictates that Dortmund would have something to say if they hadn't tabled a bid !

M night whatever his name is could be behind all this, who the fuck knows what's going on ?

Let's call Palkin's bluff. I don't believe him for a minute. If the buy-out clause is 20M, there's no reason to bid 25M especially if the player wants to force a move to Liverpool. They're angling for more money and its unlikely that we'll stump up a further 5M.

Im honestly convinced we have no interest in this guy.
He wants to leave Shakhtar and his agents are kicking up shit.
Its EXACTLY the same as Lavezzi last year and there was absolutely no evidence then that we wanted to sign the player and there isnt now.
I think this whole thing is bullshit.

We wont sign him.

I suppose he doesn't really fit Rodgers profile, and we just blew 7 million on Albert who would not even make the bench should we sign Borat.
