Armenian national football team player and midfielder for Shakhtar Donetsk team Henrik Mkhitaryan did not attend training that he was required to attend and may be fined, Shakhtar Director General Sergey Palkin told Sportdaily.ru website. According to the team official, Mkhitaryan will be fined in case he will not attend team events soon.

“It is clear that yesterday (the press briefing was on Monday evening – ed.) he [Mkhitaryan] did not attend ‘Shakhtar’ training, although, he was required to do that. We don’t know possible reasons for that. In case if Mkhitaryan will not attend team events soon, we will have to fine him,” Palkin added.Shakhtar Director stressed that he has no explanation for such an attitude.“Ask him. I know that Henrik did not have any conflicts with partners or coaches, and he had never expressed any desire to leave the team.
