0-1 Brondby
0-0 Spartak Moscow
0-1 Celta Vigo
1-1 Middlesbrough
1-3 Aston Villa

They make up the majority of classics I've been to. Think the Brondby game was my first. Went to the players' lounge after it though, so sorta made up for it.

November 1961 against Swansea Town. We won 5-0, but all I can really remember was the roar of the crowd throughout the game.

The good thing about European games back then especially was that it was easy to get tickets, and I think they were pretty cheap too. The bad thing of course is that we tended to be fucking rubbish.

I've never watched us lose at Anfield.*

*Partially because I couldn't get into a game versus any good team.
I've also never seen us being beaten. That includes Utd x 3 (once at old trafford) and Chelsea under Hodgson.

I've only been about 20 times in total. Classic armchair fan.

My first live game was at Lansdown Road, 1977 against a League of Ireland 11, The League scored 1st but we won easlily in the end, I think it was 3-1. My 1st visit to Anfield was 1984/85 season we beat Ipswich 2-0.
I've only ever seen us lose once, an FA cup match againts Chelsea 96/97 FA Cup at Stamford Bridge, we were 2 up at half time and lost 4-2.
I was at the League Cup Final in 1983. My older brother (Manu supporter) took me, We beat them 2-1 aet.

My first few times to Anfield we were fucking shite. Don't think we scored a goal in the first 4 or 5 times I went. Then I played there and we got beat. Even now, I have a bit of a shit win/loss ratio when I go.

“Then I played there and we got beat.” Say more…

I only know you as the anti-reverse jinx with a half twist guy.

88 and I don't even remember who we played in the first few games I went to. First game I properly remember was the derby that year. Finished 1-1 and Houghton got our goal. Standing on a fully mixed kop was amazing and scarey.

Ha nothing exciting. Played there for the school in a final. Also played a few years later at Goodison (won that one), then played for Merseyside in the national cup at Meadow Lane (Notts County) and won that too. Sadly my career never kicked on and I never did get to avenge my Anfield defeat.

I've defo been to more losses and draws than wins.

I remember distinctly watching us lose to Wigan on Sterling's prem debut under Kenny. Took my Dad to his first game in 40 years and we were fucking pathetic. Took me a year to convince him to come to another one, and we drew 0-0 with Stoke, with Suso being the only threat.

After I stopped taking my Dad to games (he got too grumpy) we started winning under Rodgers and Klopp.

I've only been to one away game and I loved it - we lost to Sunderland and fucking Bendtner scored the winner for them, but we were so battered and the atmosphere was amazing so we weren't even that arsed.
