Do you mean Grenada or granada?
Highly-rated Granada full-back Guilherme Siqueira admits he could be in line for a Spanish call-up.
The Brazilian-born left sider - who has an Italian passport - has impressed hugely with Granada since joining them in 2011, but he has never been capped by the Samba nation.
A host of clubs including Manchester United, Valencia, Porto and Benfica have watched the player in the past 12 months.
But his form has also caught the attention of Spain's national coaches and he could be considered for a call-up by the World and European champions - if he gains Spanish nationality.
"Spain's assistant manager told me that if I get Spanish nationality, I might be an option for the future, as they have been following me for a while," he told Globo Esporte.
"I'm in a great moment at Granada, my third season at the club, I'm having some good games, scoring goals. I'm very happy."
Speaking of the interest in him, he said: "We know that when the market opens, a lot is said and little is done.
"The only concrete offer so far was from Valencia, but the clubs didn't reach a deal in the end and I stayed at Granada.
"As for the Portuguese teams, they were Benfica and Porto. They watched some of our games last year and I know that the president [of one of them] called the club asking about my situation."
Granada full-back Guilherme Siqueira has confirmed he wants to leave this summer and hopes the club will let him move on.
Siqueira has four years left on his contract with Granada, who finished the season in 15th position in La Liga.
The 27-year-old was reportedly watched by Manchester United on several occasions during the 2011/12 campaign, and has previously been linked with Barcelona and Benfica.
The Brazilian believes that now is the right time to change clubs and also feels that Granada would benefit from his sale.
"I can't say that my cycle at Granada is over as I still have four more years on my contract," Siqueira told Globo Esporte.
"But the board and the fans know that I have had two top quality seasons and I think that, if I am to leave, the moment is now.
"I hope the club can find a way out for me. An eventual transfer would be good for the club and for me as well."
