A shithouse to a scouser is someone who is cowardly and lacks bottle.

Yep, it's a helluva lot more specific than those Urban Dictionary references.

Yeah,that's true enough.

He's not very good, but he has shown a lot of commitment and effort.

Which sadly isnt incredibly common for Liverpool players these days.

Lolly ice.

Haha first that popped into my head also

I've got no time for Lucas Leiva any more.

Seeing him name on the team sheet dumbfounds me, and I honestly think many big and strong Championships midfielders would be better for this club.

He'll never play for a club our size ever again. He's living the dream right now. Let's hope he wakes up soon.

You know, now that Lucas is in the right place in the pecking order, ie forth rather than regular starter, I am happy enough if he stays.
Why, though? Whether 1st choice or 101st choice, if he's on the pitch, he's not good enough...

Because he is about the standard of a back up to a back up centre mid.
He is not good enough to be a regular starter but can do a job, sort of, when we are without two of our regular midfielders.

I don't think that we are ever likely to have four Gerrard standard players vieing for a regular place in the first team (well unless we become totally quids in with new owners) and I think if you look at most other teams, their forth choice centre mid would be of a considerably lesser standard than the regular starter.

But better than Lucas, probably...

Lucas wouldn't get into the Newcastle side that won the Championship last year.
Lets be fair he'd be picked fucking last with me and my mates on a Sunday evening.

More news from Liverpool. Manager Roy Hodgson is not planning on allowing Lucas leave the Reds before the transfer window closes. I'm pretty sure most Liverpool fans will be breathing a huge sigh of relief at this news

Sportinglife. Surely a pisstake.

Roy clearly doesn't rate Lucas so it is possible he wants to move him on.
He hasn't picked Lucas for either league game (Mash tantrum aside) and it now looks as if Poulson wasn't Mascherano's replacement.
So he has played 2 league games out of 3 and also the majority of the European games as a result of not being rated by manager??? Imagine if he had been rated!!

Stoke is reported interested to bolster their squad... I think that tells a lot about the player Benitez picked ahead of Mascherano whenever he had to choose straight between them.
