VAR was launched to deal ONLY with 'clear and obvious' errors. I don't see why they don't understand their own rules. Unless most people watching already know there's been a clear and obvious error, then there hasn't been one. It ain't difficult. They now use VAR to search for errors. If you need to search for errors, a clear and obvious error hasn't happened. It's sort of exasperating.

I think they're so afraid of making mistakes that they're making a shambles of it.

Nobody needs armpit offsides.

If you’re in Boston area on a Sunday not sure what you’re expecting. I don’t imagine a Patriots fan in Liverpool would find many bars showing their game instead of Liverpool’s.
Get your ass to the Phoenix Landing. No one will change the channel to a meaningless game against the Dolphins.

I know, I know but I was able to watch the first half. I just have the fear of a switch despite the abundance of screens.

I'm in Maine, these country yokels aren't ready for my rage.

I agree, but they started this absurdity with that Firmino decision vs Villa.

They've now had to continue this.

To be honest, at least they've been consistent.

My concern now is that the official will try even this out, despite both decisions being correct as per the current rules.

Wolves are playing well. We are luck to be a head
Why ? Because they have done fuck all in front of goal until the disallowed goal. Whereas Salah should have put us ahead and a couple of blocks may have stopped other goals. I never get this .. they are unlucky, we are lucky ..... when in fact we have had the best of the game. Plucky defending deserves a point/win eh.

Damn we playing arkwardly, should be 1-1, lucky...need to get those 'lead' badges off the shirt. We should have listened to the premiership and kept them off, it's giving opposition teams incentive that we don't need...

Calm your tits a bit.

Was it an armpit? I thought it was a foot.

Yep, it was a foot this time. That’s kind of the problem with “furthest part of the body one can score with” rule - this goes against the way players FEEL if they are offside, which is whether their center of the the body is level with the last defender. Nobody can legislate for a toe sticking out by one centimeter during the precise moment the pass is played or for Pukki’s body leaning slightly forward while his feet are clearly behind the last defender, so he is penalized for his armpit being ahead of the foot. It just makes no intuitive sense and that’s why it will surely be changed next season.

That's an new tatic of sending TAA wide out on the left to send in an inswinger
