G&H can't finance the trial against RBS

I doubt there's been a payout to H & G. Broughton, RBS et al were the ones who brought the suit seeking declaratory relief, that is, declarations that they had conducted themselves properly throughout the sale. RBS in particular, has been prosecuting this suit rather vigorously, having already spent more than 1 million in legal expenses.

Also, at one point, H & G's defence appeared to be so untenable, an application for summary judgment against them had been made. besides, H & G are hopelessly unprepared for the hearing commencing 22 April 2013, and having failed to meet the staggered payments into Court as security, have not even had access to the documents produced in discovery.

You know your shit Rushie. I have a feeling you're smarter than your namesake. Even if he might claim to be a better goalscorer.

Mr.Rushie here is a genuine legal eagle if I'm not mistaken.

Rushie, if the settlement won't have involved a payout, what *is* it likely to have involved? An agreement that everybody goes away and forgets the whole thing, so that no application for costs is made against the two cowboys, perhaps?

I reckon Rodgers parked up outside G&H's hotel and stared at them intensely until they backed down.

There were a lot of people who was very happy when G and H took the club in the first place... In hindsight Moores werent that bad after all

Turning out to be better than Hicks and Gillett is not exactly an achievement to be proud of for Moron Moores.

Exactly. His crowning achievement was selling the club to those two chisellers in the first place without doing due diligence on at least one of them.

They were quite succesfull owners of North american sports franchises... Blaming Moores is a tad rich.
Most of us were happy at the time

Yeah, there was really nothing else Moores could've done. I mean he even asked Gillet if Hicks was a good guy and everything. Brilliant!

Find the accounts then and I guarantee you'll still find the same figure for profits from player trading.

Sales of assets are never stated under income. It's just not how they're accounted for.

Ross... was... wrong....? Don't know what's real anymore. Does this mean that managers matter?
