Fernando Torres is a doubt for Chelsea's Premier League opener against Stoke on Sunday after limping off during Spain's 2-1 defeat to Italy.

Torres was replaced by Fernando Llorente after only 15 minutes with what appeared to be an ankle injury, but it was later revealed that the Spain striker had suffered concussion and had been sent for a scan.

It's nice to not have to care when he gets injured playing meaningless games for Spain, isn't it ?

It's funny...

I was a bit surprised about thr fact that the media seems to have caught on to the Torres head injury only now, they are late by abot 8 months. It's a shame, he was a terrific striker before he damaged his head!

Imagine we had splashed millions on a striker that didn't suit our system, was injured most of the time and only scored a couple of goals since January...

Haha

Anybody take him back if we cud get him for a fraction of what we sold him for?? Just say we did and he started banging in the goals for us again???

Sure. We could partner him with Owen if we could get him on a free and he started banging in the goals.

Or even diouf, if he was free, and started banging in the goals.

Does he have some sort of contractual obligation to get injured in every Spain friendly?

Anyway, glad I couldn't give a shit anymore.
